My gosh, was this a near perfect episode. I felt extreme tension for the last fight. Even before it started, you felt scared for the character. You felt scared for them. The tension was really there. It was such an edge of seat experience the entire fight. That was if you were in your seat, I was cheering and jumping around. The training scene could of been longer but was absolutely awesome, and some of the endings could of been better. Did feel a bit rushed, but the main part of the episode just felt so eerie. I felt scared, for the first time in Cobra Kai history, the audience felt on edge.
We feared. We were afraid. But, Pain Does not Exist in this dojo. Cobra Kai never dies.
With this episode, Cobra Kai ended with fantastic payoffs and performances, the usual fun and silly ideas, I totally thought it was perfect. It was always a light-hearted show with many witty moments and choices, it did not disappoint. The last part of season 6 is probably the best thing in Karate Kid universe.
I remember seeing the movie 2 at the cinema, probably two or three years after the original release because I was too young. Immediately after seeing the first on TV. It was a family adventure to discover these films as a child.
35/36 years later we have this perfect closure and I absolutely loved it.
I've seen so many shows over the years only to be let down by the ending.
Literally 90% of the shows I've seen have ended in disappointment.
But this one on the take hand is one of the very few shows I've seen that have had a superb ending.
I guess most people who have watched Cobra Kai have seen The Karate Kid and they know the story.
When Cobra Kai appeared on my screens I wasn't sure.
I mean I LOVED the original but thought the 'reboot' series would be rubbish and something like the Karate Kid movie remake.
Boy was I wrong.
Do yourself a favour guys, watch this.
It's actually VERY good.
As a millennial it ticked all of the boxes I wanted, great homages to its history, awesome music choices and really heartfelt story.
I wish this show could continue forever but this was a perfect ending to an amazing series. The growth of Jonny as a character is amazing and could be seen on full display in the episode.
Only downside for me was some of the not so prominent characters could have had some closure to their stories but I understand that the main story had to be the priority and as already mentioned this was done brilliantly well.

Johnny Lawrence: [final scene, Johnny and Daniel are looking at menus about to order lunch] Kids are really chompin' at the bit for the All-Valley.
Daniel LaRusso: Yeah, it'll be here before you know it.
[beat]
Daniel LaRusso: That reminds me. I was thinking that maybe it'll be good for Anthony to enter as Cobra Kai. You know, it'll probably be good for him to have a neutral sensei.
Johnny Lawrence: [smiles approvingly] Hell, yeah. Works for me. The kid's really coming into his own. Yeah, and I was thinking that Devon could fight for Miyagi-Do. She could use a little more defense.
Daniel LaRusso: You got it.
Johnny Lawrence: [pulling envelope from his pocket] Hey, I've been meaning to ask you... did you ever get one of these in the mail?
Daniel LaRusso: [looks at it] Yeah, it's a property tax bill.
Johnny Lawrence: Didn't I already pay taxes when I bought the place?
Daniel LaRusso: Yeah, you did... and you're gonna have to pay that bill too.
Johnny Lawrence: Are you serious?
Daniel LaRusso: Hey, it's no different than your business tax that you pay for the dojo.
[Johnny looks at him, clueless]
Daniel LaRusso: I'm gonna introduce you to my accountant.
Johnny Lawrence: And what, is he gonna send me a bill too?
Daniel LaRusso: [smiling] Yeah.
Johnny Lawrence: All right, I'm gonna go drain the main vein. Don't order without me.
[leaves the table as a fly buzzes near Daniel, who remembers a similar time with Mr. Miyagi]
Daniel LaRusso: [to himself] I always have the memories.
[he takes up his chopsticks and proceeds to track the fly, intending to catch it. Johnny returns, clapping the fly between his hands killing it]
Johnny Lawrence: [displaying the crushed fly in his palm] Got him. No mercy.
[Daniel smiles as Johnny wipes it on his pants]
