Best My Hero Academia movie so far!

Previously to this film, the second movie of My Hero Academia was my favorite in the franchise, but without a doubt this fourth entry is my new favorite movie in the series, and also I'd include it in my Top10 of Anime TV series Tie-in Movies. The film is action-packed from the beginning to the end, with a great balance of having the whole cast of heroes a moment to shine, moreover the villain team for the movie is visually striking and interesting to watch. The level of animation is truly great. The intro song is really good too. I'm greatly pleased with my experience watching the anime film.

    Incredible ride!

I loved this movie i paid for the tickets in advance and this movie did not disappoint! The animation was incredible, I got chills in the last fight, it was so fun to watch and I can't wait to watch this again. I watch the anime so I'm invested in the characters but I think this would still be enjoyable to watch as is. Just when you think movie ideas are run out of, they create this ride for fans. I'm incredibly thankful to all creators and animators for this special treat. I came and made an account on imdb just to show my gratitude and review. Can't wait for the last season and hopefully another movie!

    My Hero Academia: You're Next

With "All Might" having lost most of his powers and now taken a back seat, it falls to the students of class 1A of the academy to do the policing of the undesirables in society and use their adaptable array of quirks to deliver these miscreants to the authorities. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, there appears a serious challenge to their regime when "Dark Might" emerges bent of replacing his august predecessor and imposing his own form of rule on a Japan he considers a pale imitation of it's former self. He is not without his own powerful hench-folk, and unwittingly one of those is the powerful "Anna" who can augment and corrupt the powers of others and whilst under an hypnotic spell be used to make this new oppressor nigh on unstoppable. It's down to the determined "Deku" and his new found ally "Giulio" to galvanise his nimble friends and find a way to thwart this monster before his city-sized aerial fort destroys their school, "All Might" and all that they stand for. It's a bit on the long side this, but there's still a solid story of good vs. Evil underpinned by plenty of animated combat action, some great smashes - "Manchester" and "Torino" maybe being a little more potent than "Grape Juice" and some effort has been made to imbue the characters with a little more personality as we discover more about who both their nemesis and the manipulated "Anna" actually are. It can be a bit repetitive at times and it has a couple of goes at concluding, but I still quite enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing for fans, mildly confusing for others.

Me and my gf went to see it for Thursday previews. The movie for me,as a fan,was amazing. For my gf who has fallen out of the loop for MHA, she was somewhat confused. If you love MHA you will enjoy,if you don't really enjoy it,or are a more casual viewer, expect extravagant animation, and not much else. The story feels rushed and dragged depending on the scene, and the final act drags on a bit much, but it is saved by AMAZING 100/10 animation for the final fights. Please if you're a fan and can,go see it. Animation quality was mindblowing, even in the current age of anime like JJK and KnY.

Pros: Good quality animation Amazing final fights(there are several standouts) Side characters are hit or miss, but fun nonetheless Good runtime, even if pacing is wonky, definitely worth the money.

The score and audio are insanely good.

Not as reliant on fanservice as the other films,so easier to take in as it's own project.

Dark Might is handled great imo

Cons: Subpar story, with pacing all over the place, but very normal for anime tie ins tbh Despite getting more time than the actual cast of MHA,the original characters all still underdeveloped sadly 3rd act drags especially hard, but is still saved by fantastic animation Side villains aren't handled as well as Dark Might

Biased rating,a 10. Genuine rating, more around an 8. Still a must watch for fans, but not for more casual viewers.

    💐 Great Visuals & Plotline 📜

Just Got out of a Screening of My Hero Academia: You're Next

Wow what a Fantastic Concept. I've Never Watched this Series Before.

Things I Liked About the Film -

🌐 & 🙋 - The World Building Here is Phenomenal with all of these Character Designs. Literally EVERY SINGLE character has some Weird or Unique Design & Some Strange Quirk (Superpower). Design Wise - There's Nothing Mediocre in this World.

📜 - The Plotline was Really Interesting, with this Guy Admiring & impersonating another Superhero called All Might(I'm guessing he's the most Powerful Superhero in this Universe), and trying to Mimic his Values but in turn going about it the completely wrong way. And Groups of other Superheroes trying to stop him.

🌟 - The Villain - "Dark Might" was a Key component of why this film was so good to watch. He really did Carry a lot of the Film with his Performance.

💐 🍾 - The visuals were Stunning at Times, especially that floating Ship Scene, the Colours were Popping all over the place.

A Negative of the film -

😑 - The Ending Climactic Battle was Only Ok. That's not good enough.

Overall, a Great Time at the Cinema.
