It's the first time I dedicate time to review a movie....
What just happend to the last 2h of my life?! I. Will never get them back!
The director is a genius! He was able to use techniques for coffee comercial, videoclips with light on the dancer. Have no line of thought in editing from squares every minute to no squares at all. Every scene is cut with no momentum at all with the characters they are writen by 10 year old.
How do people invest money and the actors acept to even be part of this. Its career suicide.
Please some one save the actors they were kidnapped to make this movie.
This is watching now the end of the movie...
Katie Katie sweetheart have some water.
Family movie night?
Then the director decides to use Frankenstein as a revival moment...
It just getting better as I'm writing this review... thank you!
No spoiler but it even has a moment of Call of Duty!
And a beautiful ending with scrable.
Thank you I take my words I'm inspired!
Like a hit and run!

Tense, twisty, and surprisingly emotional, The Stranger in My Home delivers a psychological thriller that hooks you from the start and refuses to let go. The plot unfolds with sharp precision, keeping you guessing through every reveal and reversal.
But it's the performances that elevate the film. Sophia Bush brings quiet intensity to the role, while Chris Carmack balances charm and menace in a way that's downright chilling. Their chemistry makes every scene feel like a ticking time bomb.
It's a smart, gripping ride-one that proves you don't need loud action to leave a lasting impact. Well done!

Was this a made for TV movie that I just happened to catch off regular tv? If not, I seen better lifetime movies...I really expected better. I had a feeling I was in for it when a supposed "serious drama/thriller" started off the opening credits by intruding the actors like a TV show by displaying their name with a picture one after one. I started laughing more than I was on the edge of my seat. The plot itself had a chance to make for a pretty good movie, but it just was played out as well as it could have or as well as I hoped. I had never heard of this but often will watch something Inbthat manner. Many times I'm surprised and really like the movie, this was far from one of those times.
I've never written a movie review before, but I came across There's a Stranger in My Home after seeing a trailer on TikTok that made it look intense and intriguing. It hooked me just enough to spend $6 to rent it, but unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended.
The acting was pretty bad, the story was super predictable, and the whole thing just felt cringey. It had the vibe of a cheesy made-for-TV movie, but not in a fun or entertaining way. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never really did.
If you're thinking about watching it, I'd say skip it-unless you're in the mood to laugh at something unintentionally funny.

The Stranger in My House started off strong and had a lot of potential. The premise was intriguing, and the setup kept me interested. However, as the film progressed, the story began to rely heavily on unrealistic coincidences. By the final third, it shifted from suspenseful drama into pure fiction that felt disconnected from the grounded tone it started with. It seemed like the director lost their narrative direction, and unfortunately, the ending fell flat.
By the end, I wasn't even sure if I was the stranger in my own house, because nothing made sense anymore. It felt like the writer threw the last 30 pages of the script into a blender, hit "purée," and filmed whatever came out. Somewhere in the middle, I think even the characters forgot what they were doing.
If you're into mystery, suspense, and absolutely no logical payoff, this might be your thing. Otherwise, you might want to stay out of this house... or at least keep the lights on and your expectations low.
