This movie was so funny and well done! Not your average Rom-com. I would recommend to everyone who's looking for something to do on the weekend in Toronto. The yoga scene was absolutely hilarious. That's something you're not going to forget. The cinematography was done quite well also. The actors were great. Definitely forgot that it wasn't a US Blockbuster yet. This movie proves that Canadian films are not to be looked down upon. I'm going to gather a group of friends and head out to see it, because I saw it's debut in Montreal but am down for another viewing in Toronto. The Carlton cinema is a great theater for it to be shown at. Love the ambiance and atmosphere there. Great audio and visual and nice sized theaters seating around 120 people.
My Ex Ex tries really hard to be a farrelley bros movie. Doesn't quite stick the landing though. There were a few decent laughs throughout, enough to keep my attention. But it was embarrassingly predictable and cliche. I guess it's worth watching, but nothing to get excited about.

This is a clever and funny little Indie movie. The script is really good. Ok. It's crude like a lot of comedies are these days BUT it's also written with intelligence, a rare commodity in movie making at any time. The acting is good, the script is good. It's made in Canada. Canadians always like you to know that. And all the actors are Canadian. Canadians also like you to know that. You might think they're Americans. They look like Americans. Talk like Americans but they're Canadian. Sorry to get off on this little North American tangent but really if you like a good, funny rom-com that has some actual originality to it, this is a good bet.
Watching this felt like an asthma attack after taking a hit from the roughest joint in my entire life. i bought this movie on fandango to remind me that things really could be worse, also because they took it off of netflix. the acting is horrible, the script sucks, and it feels like every scene goes on for two minutes longer than it should, (which is really bad considering this is a 90 minute move.) also ray galletti is garbage
