Show was mids at best, then I realized that's what you get when the majority of your female contestants are OF girls.
Insane casting decision I must say but I'm guessing someone high up in production was in cahoots with these girls.
Yikes.
Show itself was just alright. Had some interesting twists thrown in that were original to the show and that I did appreciate.
One of my biggest criticisms is the late show character additions. I don't think that was fair and a lot of my friends that also watched the show said the same thing.
All in all you'll be entertained, but don't go in expecting something like Traitors.

It sells itself as a gameshow you can play along with. It clearly isn't. If none of the contestants had any idea of which country they were in, let alone city, viewers didn't stand a chance either. We were told that there were clues, but each clue could be true or false and neither contestants or viewers would be told which. The only glimmer was the contestant with the most correct answers was named, and they were shocked as clearly everything is guesswork. A show invented to make use of some smart tech.
A total miss for me and I won't be watching more.

I love geography. And I particularly love European geography. And I so wanted to watch this series. But it has one major flaw. The people are terrible at geography and foreign culture. Foreign flags. Foreign anything. Honestly, they don't seem to know anything about anything! They are utterly and completely clueless. Such a shame and a waste of an opportunity for a great show.
Also, the solutions to the problems are way too easy. The locations are way too obvious. I suppose it's made for the masses. What the typical American might know about European geography. I get it, but but geesh, no one's going to learn anything about Europe or European geography by watching this show. It's all so incredibly basic.

I found the first episode to be rather disappointing, but I am enjoying the following episodes. This is a competitive game, so strategy is part of the story. But what I enjoy most is what can be learned about the various cities and their environs. This includes architecture, natural wonders, and culture in general. It is not the same as being there, but some of us will have to settle for that.
"The Amazing Race" is more immersive, so it has more to offer.
The clues the contestants receive along the way are rather elementary. I am hoping they become more difficult in later episodes, rewarding the better players.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an interesting host. I rather like his laid-back style, which keeps the focus on gameplay, not on him.

I don't know much about history but I do find it Interesting. This show is so good and I'm learning so much. Its pure entertainment and keeps me on my toes! Everything about this show is perfect Jeffery is great and is perfect for the host. I love the way they do different challenges and add crazy twist with the "bombshells". I found this show on accident it started playing after love island and now I'm hooked I look forward to watching it every Wednesday. Please never get rid of this show it is amazing and deserves 10 seasons in locations all over the world!!! I love the idea makes me want to go travel Europe.
