A mixed bag, in every way, yet fun

A succession of retail-themed skits. Hit and miss. Some gags you will see coming a mile away, others will slap the back of your head.

Some actors are really good, most are very decent, some are not. Actors.

A few lines of dialogue are really witty and fun, definitely quotable, with excellent delivery. Then again, dialogue can be heavy-handed at times, both in humor and delivery, like, trying to make it funny by doing faces. But I guess that in comedy, you have to throw in some for everybody.

Even the score is uneven, from great fitting to slightly annoying (on rare occasions).

I really liked the movie anyway, and the surprisingly long running time, passed swiftly.

All characters are likeable in their own way, the amateurish feel is endearing, general tone reminded me of "The Office". Great grounds for a sitcom, by the way, in my opinion.

    Nailed it!!

The film really gives you the feeling working at a dead end job and it is acted out so well. I cracked up every time someone walked into the store and just wanted to use the washroom and how bent out of shape the staff felt with each scenario.

Was happy to see my favourite comedians Brett Forte and Sam Walker in an acting role together. They played their parts well as did all the cast to portray the tedious boring retail world of furniture!

Again as stated through another review, the fact that this was based on real life situations makes it that more funny!

Proud this was an independent film made by passionate people to bring comedy into this world! Highly recommended!

    Funny as H-E-Double Hockeystick!!!

Funny as h-e-double hockeystick!!! I first saw this film at the Twin Falls Film Festival in 2024 and I laughed all the way through; easily my favorite film of the festival. While talking with Patrick Downing & Eric Amber at the event, I learned that some of the gags were based on actual situations!

This film centers around the antics that happen during a particularly bad week at a furniture store owned by a somewhat moronic brother & sister. The acting and situations are so spot-on that I felt like I've worked with these sales people.

For those who have never worked in retail, this film will be very entertaining; for those who have, they'll get every joke and swear it's based on real events - which it was! A very entertaining and highly recommended film!

    Well done

    The story line is believable.

Customers and their concerns and interactions with Sales staff seemed like they could happen any given day in the life of a retail sales person.

Actors and actresses played their parts very truthfully.

The underlying stories to the characters was well done. If you've ever worked in retail it's easy to believe you've worked with one of these characters and most certainly have dealt with these types of customers in similar situations.

The poor "put-upon" Manager who is just trying to run a business was a delight.

Seeing comedians in comedic roles is always entertaining. They know how to deliver the lines and hit their mark to make it funny every time.

    Enjoyable to watch.
