Ari

The main character Ari, a 27-yearold primary school teacher living in Paris, looks a bit unstable when he is trying to teach very young children a poem they're too young to be interested in. Then he collapses in front of the class and then we begin to discover his life story. We learn about him from his conversations with old friends that he meets one by one, each conversation unique, deep, so emotional and even romantic. Little by little we both start to understand his story and discover his extraordinary personality, so sensitive, spontaneous and open to life. Throughout this unusual film, we walk with Ari in the streets of Paris and beyond it and sense his and his friends' freedom of expression, their ability to see the color of life in spite of the hardships, each in their own way. There is no room for judgment in this film, and it leaves you with a happy and quiet smile on your face.
