If you know the story of Jesus Christ, the son of God, then this documentary, will give you little new, how ever if you do not know the story of Jesus Christ, or you do, but just like to hear it in a different and slightly original format, then this is the documentary for you.
This is well put together and narrated, with visuals that tell the story accurately and well chosen music, that sounds like it is from that time and place.
I would recommend, this to those who enjoy history and those who like Jesus and the amazing story of his life. Well worth a watch, but hardly ground breaking, but then again what is.

This is a very thorough documentary, that gave all the detail one would need, to know the life of Jesus Christ, the son of God.
This documentary takes you from the very beginning of his conception, all the way to his resurrection. It includes all his deeds, miracles and non miracles and it really helps you get inside, the mind of the Lord.
The editing was great on this, as it placed you in the time and place, of his life and it was accompanied, by very fitting music, that transports you back in time, in the Jerusalem, at the time of Christ.
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in Jesus, religion or history.

Was not sure what to make of this, especially since I am not religious, but I have to say I really got into it.
What I liked about it was, it gave the entire story of Jesus life, so having watched it, I felt I knew the whole story.
Did it glorify Jesus Christ, as the son of God. Yes off course it did, but then again, you could hardly tell his life story and not glorify him, because he supposedly did all these miracles, to help other people.
I obviously already knew, quite a lot about his life, so this was hardly a revolation, but I had massive gaps in the story, within my memory, and this documentary filled those gaps and kept me entertained.

I have watched a few documentaries on Jesus Christ, as I find the subject fascinating. I am not religious myself, just interested in the history of it all, as I can not make my mind up, if Jesus really did exist, and if he did, was he the son of God.
The documentary film, gives a balanced view of things, that mainly deals with fact from the gospels, whilst delivering an entertaining ride, with well thought out imagery and very well placed music, that gives a great sense of the time and place.
I could argue about one or two points made in the film, but there is little point, because so much of the life of Jesus is questionable, what with the different accounts in the various gospels.

I have watched a lot of documentary films on Jesus of Nazareth, or Jesus Christ, the son of God, as I am fascinated in the history of it all, as I try to make my mind up, on whether or not there was such a man.
Having watched quite a few, I believe this is in the up half of them, as I found it with a very good pace, and well put together.
The editing was slick and smooth, with footage and images that were very relevant to what was being said.
The music was very well chosen, as it was not just atmospheric, but was also music from that part of the world, which helped transport me to Jerusalem, at the time of Jesus.
