Spinal Destination

This kiwi series was such a welcoming surprise. Taking a tragic topic and insert good humour into it ! Quite successful in creating this lovely comedy.

Storyline is very good Screenplay is excellent Casting is great Storyline is a 40 something married woman with a young daughter (10yo).

Woman suddenly, totally unexpectedly, becomes an invalid.

Problem is she won't accept her new situation !

Total denial Then big big attitude issue when she goes to a hospital dedicated to people with similar condition.

The interaction with fellow patients is very funny because she really feels she'd be out of there in no time !

Man in charge of the institution is trying his best to help her adapt to her new challenges .

Her fellow patients are a mixed bags of people with various handicapped and..... attitude issues as well !

Mixing with them brings lots of funny encounters and incidents !

Lovely and funny to watch how this woman evolves from denial to adapting to her new reality !

Quite enjoyable to watch this lovely comedy.
