Wild Wild Punjab

Watching this on 11th July, Thursday night with few beers.

Now alcohol might make me a little bit inhibition free, but my laughter was so hard and genuine at times, that I felt Madgaon express was little weak in this sort of situational comedy.

Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh are obviously characters that we've almost seen. They're new but with elements of familiarity. That's why the rating of 5.7 didn't stop me from playing it. Granted Sunny Singh didn't impress individually, but I don't reckon it was a project for him to take the limelight away. Female cast is unfamiliar for Hindi film industry but they do their job pretty well. Character of Jain, played by Gill is like part of orchestra, complementing it and going with the flow.

Appearance of Gopal Dutt, Rajesh Sharma and Ashok Pathak was refreshing and ensured laughter.

There are troupes, nuances and contextual jokes. What else the audience needs, I don't really get. Had good time throughout. Shot well, bgm is spot on as per hindi movies.

One critic was so obsessed with the operation theatre scene for god sake stop being so pretentious Despite the vast array of positive qualities in movie some critics seem determined to rain on this comedy parade. Their reviews, like distant black holes, try to suck the joy out of a film that is meant to be a lighthearted escape. Cast is top notch every character has good presence , Rather than the vast positive aspects of WWP The film's humour may not resonate with everyone, and that's understandable - comedy is subjective, after all. But to dismiss the movie is wrong,I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

This Wild Wild ride starring Wild Manjot , Varun , Jassie and Sunny with lots of chaos and goof-ups making it one of the successful comedy film of the year. The most important thing in comedy film is dialogue writing which is done very well by the writers. Every humors delivers and jokes are putting it on the button. You will laugh throughout the film which is the strong point of the movie. Laughable and enjoyable through in and out. All of them (Cast) performance at its peak. Although, the topic was silly but still its a comedy movie the whole point was is to make us laugh and they succeeded in it. There are many strong language scenes in it because its a adult comedy movie. Reminds me of Fukrey and Delhi Belly . What a wild ride i've witness this movie needs to release in theatres rather than ott. Also , the good point was it is not very lenghty and very contentful. Many references the director includes of dil chahta hai,Hangover and fukrey. The Music and BGM score was all decent, so the direction.

I dont know how people are not talking about it and giving this a bad rating. In my opinion it's a Must Watch.

After reading the reviews I was pretty demotivated but still decided to give it a shot its is simply a carefree comedy has bad words but not for the sake of it fits like in real life there are some technical aspects like I could literally see the dummies before some action lol and few things are hard to digest but can be overlooked and you'll end up having so much fun. So it basically a comedy and I would say that don't use too much brain if possible plus the acting by cast is nice too, the group basically fits well and the ending is satisfying as hell!!! But again there are a few things in movie you'll feel are downright stupid but I think it can be ignored.

Just what you want to watch while watching casually. No need to think alot, just buckle in forthe ride!

Performances are good. It's like a Punjabi mashup of Fukkrey and Pyar Ka Punchnama.

Decent punches, funny scenarios. No forced laughter.

Manjot did a good job as being a well of and mature guy. Chucha was just chucha again. Sunny singh was decent. He had his usual persona, nothing standing out. Jassie gill did not have much screen time or an impacting performance.

Female leads were just supporting actresses.

Overall, it is after a while that a decent comedy has come out like the PKP series.
