Divergence

The plot was interesting and believable when the season first started but it's rapidly devolving with each episode into a thin story. It is very difficult to maintain enthusiasm when the characters make stupid decisions. The second issue is that Peter is constantly aggressive with a continual scowl on his face and making random threats as if that will ensure the desired response. Rose and Noor suffer from some of the shallow character developments as well. Jacob Monroe our resident bad guy actually had a good speech that was believable as well as thought provoking. I like the premise of the show. I hope season 3 is as good as season 1 was.

One needs to remember that they're watching a TV show. It's fiction. It's entertainment. With that in mind, this has always been a great show, and this episode delivers as well as any other. The story keeps all the subplots converging to the ultimate goal. It also solves some problems, but leaves you hoping other, more annoying problems will be solved in the next two episodes.

Man, if Markus doesn't get repeatedly pummeled before the end of the season, then I'll be disappointed. That is one character that you know was written to be the biggest jerk in the world, one that every viewer had better hate.

Summing up, I don't know what some people expect. Again, it's a TV show, not real life.
