So disappointed with the ending. There was no need for the last episode. It was going really well until the last episode. They unnecessarily added conflict purely for the sake of it. Overall though the female lead is a fantastic actor with all of the main actors doing a good performance. The story is strange but quite nice. The connection between the characters is also quite good especially between the two main characters. The pacing is also good however it was sometimes too long with the 6th episode being an hour and a half. Okay but would not recommend due to the ending and a dissonance between what they show the characters to be and what the characters do. For example, the ending is portrayed as a happy ending but in reality it is not.

This slow-paced drama is beautifully shot and acted, with each episode leaving me eager for the next. The cinematography and production quality surpass that of many Japanese television shows, making it feel more like a high-budget film. I was especially impressed with how thoughtfully the story was written. Every character has depth and a satisfying resolution to their arc, which makes the show even more compelling.

What truly sets this series apart is the care put into both the visual storytelling and the development of its characters, like an A24 production. Unlike many standard TV productions, this show offers a more nuanced, introspective experience that lingers with you after each episode.
