Brought me to tears and I'm a 19 year old man😭

Watched this movie on Netflix at 2am. I rarely cry at movies unless it's really good, and trust me this did not disappoint. I don't often watch foreign movies, but this one was so good. I was struggling to breathe near the end and my tears never stopped 😭😭. The acting was incredible, the music was good and the meaning behind the flowers was such a unique context to the story. It made me remember someone who I loved deeply but could no longer talk to as they moved on. So this story struck me in the heart so deeply, I haven't felt so affected from a movie in years. To anyone who questions watching this movie, please watch it won't disappoint.

    P. S just learn this Ren Nagase is a Japanese idol in a group called King and prince. I was just streaming their music and it's so good. Cinderella girl song is so cute.

This is an amazing movie :')

Man, I generally don't write reviews for any of the films. But this... this movie deserves it. This film feels similar to the anime "I want to eat your pancreas" and I even cried watching that back then and I cried a lot more after watching this film. The chemistry between Hayasaka and Haruna was so sweet and the way they conveyed their feelings in the end, it was a lot to make a grown man cry :') The ending was also nicely done. The direction and narration of the film is excellent. The acting done by the actors is also so perfect like they really got into their characters and performed very well.

Perfect film in my opinion 100/10.

Even though it's a bit familiar storyline. But it's a enjoyable film to watch!

The use of a blue haze creates a dreamlike atmosphere that complements the film's themes. This visual choice, while divisive among viewers, adds depth to the narrative and enhances the emotional impact of scenes.

The film's structure focuses on moments rather than grand gestures. This approach allows the story to unfold, drawing the audience into the characters' experiences. The pacing gives viewers time to reflect on the themes presented.

While the film treads familiar ground in the genre of terminal romance, its restraint and focus on small, meaningful interactions elevate it. "Drawing Closer" reminds us of the profound impact we can have on each other's lives, regardless of time. I really like it.

    Beautiful & Emotional

A beautifully crafted movie with a story with messages which would turn viewer into some what a better person.

Thank you all the crew involved for making such a great piece of art!!💖

Here are some special things I loved about the movie :)

Cinematography and color grading is remarkable.. Some shots were like pictures drawn on a canvas, gave goosebumps. Massive respect for colorists and dop's.

Acting, script and editing was on point. Struck the emotions in the perfect manner and the movie went it a very great flow.

The background scores too went along really well!!

And yeah, a great script, great acting, beautiful cinematography, beautiful background scoring.. thats a good movie to watch right there!!

    Highly recommend (emotional)

Watching this movie made me realize on how our actions can affect others heavily. Although the acts we do may seem small, it may not be for others. The movie really helped me understand the feelings of others and how life has it's twist and turns. I broke down watching because of how relatable it was, I cried a bunch of times in multiple scenes. Watching the characters bond with each other as their relationship between one another improves. You understand about people's feelings and their perspectives. The similar beliefs and thoughts shared. I love this drama, it really hurts me differently. I just love how it makes you re-think about your actions and the affect it may have on others. This may help all of us viewers to change our way of life style and be more open to to others.
