The Ghost Inside My Child

This is fascinating, worth watching as these children are absolutely amazing. My only complaint is... WHAT on earth is up with the constant, repetitive up close shots of people mouths a d faces during the interview process? Who gave that the "green light" in the editing room? Very annoying, very distracting and does take away from the watch ability factor, which is a shame because these children are special. If they do a new season FIRE THE CAMERA PERSON AND FIRE THE EDITOR.

I enjoyed this, a lockdown binge watch. I am sceptical, humans clutching at straws needing there to be something more to life than life. However, enjoyed these stories. The episodes in the first series were better than the second. Towards the last episodes you start to think they should hold a Titanic reunion. Each episode tells the story of two children. Some episodes are a bit confusing, I was getting the two stories mixed up, not sure if it was me or the production.

I'm sure TV is a big influence. I don't believe that the parents limit TV to the extent that some of them say they do. It would have been interesting if they had presented some historical accounts that predate our modern influences.

I am hooked on this series - the stories are utterly fascinating. Especially in the cases where children are able to pinpoint accurate dates of events and find photos of their past-selves. On each of these instances there is an uncanny resemblance.

The only thing that lets this programme down is that it is clearly producer scripted in parts. Every parent when giving their narrative says "I was shocked with why happened next" or "I was amazed by what he said next"! With the obvious suspending cliff-hanger before revealing what the shocker was! This becomes tiresome, predictable and irritating after a while.

Aside from that - I hope they do another series. A very interesting watch if you're not overly sceptical and open/interested in reincarnation stories.

I was intrigued by the stories of these families and would have continued another episode, but the camerawork, from the extreme closeups to the constant switching from one shot to another, ended up giving me a headache. Even when text was presented on the screen they tried to get artistic with that. Cheesy editing. A good documentary wouldn't try to rely on that. If you want to watch an incredible documentary watch The Keepers. Content was interesting.

I am 60.....I still remember coming down to earth, what I said to my earth mother about her not being my mother.....the mother who came to visit me and hugged me when I was 5....the night terrors, etc. I have almost crossed to the other side twice in my life and am not afraid to die because I know there is another side.
