I can't say this for many independent films but what stands out on this one is the sound score and overall sound design. I watched it in my home theatre on 5.1 and wow, what a sound. Well done (even if the robot noises become a bit annoying).
What can I say it's a great watch from beginning to end. The character development is lacking but in this movie it seems to work. After all, it's not a drama movie. If you take it for what it is, it's a really fun movie. I paid to rent it which normally I wouldn't but was curious and didn't want to wait. I was not disappointed. For a low budget film, well done.

I have to say this film was pretty good. It's of those movies that may not top the charts but it's a fun watch from beginning to end and well worth the time, and a movie I would watch more than once. It builds tension the way a movie should. It starts off a little slow but picks up fast and by the end, I don't want to say the typical, your "on the edge of your seat", but it's a fun watch what else can I say. I rented it on Amazon Prime and it was worth the rental which I can't say for a lot of new films. With the new films being more and more of the same all the time, this movie takes me back to the days I would go to the cinema as a kid, and those are fond memories.
What a disappointment. Of course, the terrorist is Arab, his name is Amir, and he speaks Persian-an all-too-familiar and lazy stereotype. The film feels rushed, with a cheap-looking robot that belongs in a student project, not a feature film. The plot is predictable from the start, with no real suspense or creativity. The dialogue is flat and lifeless, as if written in one draft and never reviewed. The sound effects are loud and irritating, often distracting from the already weak scenes. This movie tries to be intense and meaningful but ends up being frustrating and forgettable. Don't waste your time or money on this mess.
Brilliant. The reason I say brilliant is this movie has something I rarely see, and it's really cool. There is another scene after the end credits, and I almost missed it. I usually shut a movie off before the end credits but I let this one play and to my surprise, another scene. The movie itself is really good. I would be a lot tougher on the rating I'd this was a huge budget film but for a low budget independent film it's really well done. I thought it would just be a rip off of terminator or another film already done but it's not. Nothing like other films. Hats off to this production team, well done.
This is not a good movie, but it's OK. Acting is reasonable, the special effects are very few, but used effectively. The story is interesting, even if overly simplistic and you kind of know what will happen from the description and first ten minutes. So it doesn't deserve the low rating on Imdb. Are people looking at the budget and just rating that? Why would you rate 3/10 a movie that has decent acting and story and has mostly pacing issues and 7/10 one that has no story, people are phoning it in, but has big explosions?
Anyway, I loved the retro aspect of the film. I wish they would have made it more of a comedy or satire than playing it so seriously. I think as a B-movie it's pretty good, with throwbacks to the 80s productions I was watching when I was a kid. I don't recommend it, but you've got to respect what the film makers did here.
