What a surprise!

I can't recommend The Perfect Club enough! We went in with no expectations, only knowing it was based on a true story-and what a surprise it turned out to be! The film is incredibly well made. The cast is large, with more than ten teenagers making up the club, and each actor delivers a flawless performance that brings their character to life.

I'm not sure if writer-director Ricardo Castro was a member of the original club or if he just heard the story, but he managed to capture all the action, mischief, and friendship that the group built while executing their master plan.

The movie is set in 2007, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia from that era. At its core, the premise is simple: a group of students comes together to steal exams so they can graduate. But beyond that, the film perfectly portrays the intensity and emotions of youth.

The film is funny, fresh, and heartfelt! It premiered in Mexico, and I truly hope it gets wider distribution, because it's honestly one of the best coming-of-age comedies I've seen in a very long time. It's already on my list of favorites.
