1 Last Chance at Paradise

When seemingly inexperienced improvisers tackle a weighty subject we're left with something as meandering as this awkward production. Painful exposition, underacted drama and directionless plot development send the actors flailing about amid some of the worst lighting I've seen on film. British punk singer Honey Bain is painfully miscast as a conservative mother and the finale is a slow-motion sex scene. Also, a quarter of the film is shot in portrait mode on a phone, if you needed more reason to skip it.

Very simple to write Jason Impey and Wade Radford give a good job. The impulses of youth, the pressure and deep sadness of mother - Honey Bane is a great , wise option for the role - , the freedm and love in pure form , as delight and as refuge are the good points of this film who only reminds basic , fundamental truths, so familiar but so eazy to ignore.

Whenever we watch a Wade Radford and Jason Impey movie, we know that we are going to be surprised, that it is going to be a new sort of movie, something we never see. They have done it again, a new "risk", a test, I don't know how we can call it, except maybe simply "a film". Actually it is even more a films in a film. Everything put together cuts the story between darkness and light (even though there is always some light in the dark if you see what I mean.) It is a real love story, with everything it involves, in the "Radpey style". The two guys are really cute, the story is interesting, so I will give only one advice, watch it!
