    Story of a Divine Weapon

The movie's immersive storytelling stems from its seamless blend of human relations, core values, spirituality, and ancient lore. The story begins with Emperor Ashoka, a historical figure, and seamlessly connects his legend of the nine sacred books. A story finding its foot equally in history, spirituality, and mythology, binding it into a religious tale you would root for, is a fantasy most stories lack.

Mirai's strongest element is its invocation of Lord Rama. The narrative takes us to the Treta Yug and the land where Lord Ram picked up his weapon for the first time; the entire plot is surreal. And suddenly the film is no longer a simple hero-versus-villain story as it turns into Dharma vs Adharma.

Talking about performances, Teja has done a fine job, and his transition from an ordinary person to a soldier looks believable. Ritika Nayak did a decent job with her performance within the limitations of her character. Shriya Saran in the role of Ambika made her experience count and made her presence felt. Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram got very important roles and both of them performed well as usual. Manchu Manoj's antagonist avatar looked far from menacing and was quite disappointing.

A Visually Impressive Film with a Weak Core

Mirai (2025): A Visually Impressive Film with a Weak Core

"Mirai" (2025) is a film that offers a stunning visual experience, but is ultimately let down by poor writing and flawed execution. While the movie's visual effects are a definite highlight, the narrative struggles to captivate, making it a frustrating watch.

The film's strongest asset is its VFX, which are good and impressive, creating a visually rich world for the story to unfold in. This technical proficiency is a testament to the effort put into the film's production.

However, the writing is very poor. The storyline lacks originality and depth, failing to create an engaging or compelling narrative. The plot feels disjointed, and the pacing is uneven, with key moments losing their impact due to poor execution in certain places.

The villain character, in particular, is not written well. Their motivations are unclear, and they lack the menace or complexity needed to be a formidable antagonist. This weakness in the villain's character diminishes the overall stakes of the film.

Overall, "Mirai" is a film with good visual effects that are unfortunately overshadowed by a poorly written and executed story. It's a movie that had potential but failed to deliver a truly engaging or memorable experience.

    Epic visuals but limiting story!

The story is about a negative entity getting hold of nine magical granth's (books) and succeed in his demonic endeavors. To oppose him we have our hero's and his various relations.

The story involves not one or two or three but nine magical books. The thing I did not like is the story being wrapped up with limiting number of access to these books by the demon. I mean it's hardly shown how the demon gets access to all this granth's except for the final one.

Now what I liked, the visuals are awesome the huge mythical eagle, fire, the mythical rod in itself and being turning into Lord Rams gaandiv, etc are all carved well.

Final Verdict: The story is not strong, but it's nice if you want something light minded. The movie is doing well at box office. You can give it a try.

    Mirai Movie Review

Mirai is a pretty good movie. I enjoyed the VFX and interval blocks and some action scenes throughout. I also liked Manchu Manoj character and the black sword concept was amazing. Heroine did good she also has interesting character. Thank god they removed the song which is a good decision. I liked how they blend mythology in. First half was quite okay it remind me of Kalki where Prabhas was doing too much jokes. Here Tejja Sajja was joking around in first half and it kind of ruin the movie a bit but thank god it was not overdose. Second half was very good first half was quite boring for about 5-10 minutes the movie bores you a little bit but I liked the experience and spectacle that too mixed with mythology. Manchu Manoj is biggest highlight for his villain character. Interval was peaks. Climax was also good. Story is decent but interesting. Somehow I enjoyed Tejja Sajja previous movie HanuMan that was so good because that story was interesting. Mirai story was pretty interesting not as much as HanuMan. Anyway though, it is overall decent to good Mirai.

    Overall: Pretty Good.

    Ending was not satisfactory

The narrative struggles with character development and payoff. The heroine, introduced with promise, becomes increasingly sidelined and ultimately adds little to the story after the halfway mark. More critically, the villain-portrayed as nearly invincible throughout the film-receives a disappointingly abrupt resolution. After successfully obtaining all nine books, a single arrow ends his saga, undermining both his buildup and the audience's investment in his power.

A more satisfying approach would have been to extend his presence into a sequel. By allowing him to fully wield the destructive force of the nine books, the story could have explored darker consequences and raised the stakes considerably. The heroes' journey to uncover a meaningful strategy for defeating such a formidable enemy would have created a more compelling and emotionally rewarding climax.
