The Urban Jungle

This short was great! I recommended to my friends and they thought it was going to be lame but they ended up loving it just as much as I did! Watch this short movie on Vimeo, its adorable! I loved how its dark and romantic in a cute way. This movie is funny, suspenseful, a little bit of romantic; its the perfect short movie! I don't like easily but this movie made me laugh a few times... The whole short film, i was entertained! I was very impressed with the way the filmmakers were able to make the stunts so realistic! I was very easy to relate with and this movie has a little bit of everything for everyone. I suggest watching even if you are a bit skeptic about it. Go check and see this short on the web.

I loved this movie. I've already seen it twice. Not a bad short film all around. Chalk it up to great marketing, I guess. The Cinematography and direction are great, Good characterization. Definitely need to be in film festivals. I have seen the movie online on Vimeo and it was really good. Overall the movie is very cool and very interesting.

A fun, enjoyable action flick with a compact story line for a short film.

The short has some visual effects shots also. It raises the bar for a short film makers. I can't wait for the sequel.

Although it cannot compete with big productions, I enjoyed the viewing experience.

As a matter of fact it is very entertaining if you have no expectations for a low budget short film. The story seems to be simple. Glad to see the whole short is filmed in Pittsburgh.. A con man Jason arrives in the city to meet his girl friend Kate and goes on a nice date with her. A female assassin Angel is trying to find a stolen 'Fuse'. Kate struggles with her relationship with Jason. Finding out that he is framed for the stolen fuse, Jason plans to escape to Europe with Kate. Angel goes on hunting each of the suspects. But it seems the loyalties keep changing. A variety of low life thugs and agents gets mired in the chase that happens as a result of chaos that' gets created. I watched this short on vimeo and absolutely stunned by the Cinematography work. The audio is unclear at certain times but that's how most low budget films seem to be. But on the whole it's worth watching the short.

I met the director-producer Jack at a film meet. They have sent me a link to their film "The Urban Jungle" on Vimeo. I have to say, this short is simply good. Folks, this is a definition of a short film. Jack, you've done a terrific job with your film. The thing that most surprised and impressed me, however, was the use of locations. I like Pittsburgh and it felt like a tour of downtown. There is the odd little quibble. At the starting of the film there was little confusion of the story but as the movie progressed it became very clear. There were some low-budget mistakes I can tell, but I have no other quibbles.

There's a lot going on, but it's easy to follow and all the ingredients come together smartly in the end. To sum up I really liked the effort these guys put into this short film.
