Due to the low budget nature of the shoot, Walthamstow village (London, UK) doubled as the fictional seaside town, specifically the street area outside the 5th-century timber-framed "hall house" which locals have dubbed "The Ancient House". The coastal scenes were shot near Birling Gap and Beachy Head (East Sussex, UK)
