A testimony about abuses, brutality, terror, murders in Ethiopia of middle 70 decade as Red Terror. A testimony as confession of a mother to her daughter , with intention to present an ignored tragedy, after recent bloody new civil war in Ethiopia.

Not exactly about memory but about people and a guvernament feared by them . So, they were killed and the women raped for a new future, in Mengistu regime terms.

A not comfortable story but precise crafted . Especially for the first minutes, offering precious portrait of venerable civilisation, Christian , dominated by impressive historical personalities , tradition and a special relation with history.

Profound useful sounds reasonable to define this touching short documentary.
