Rebel in Devil's Shackle

This one was interesting. There were a lot of plot twists that made it great. I never knew what to expect, in the best way possible. I couldn't stop watching it. Jackson Tiller (Saun) was made for this role. He has the whole mafia-lord character down. His serious look, the scars next to his eye, the tattoos, all work perfectly to make him come across as a cold, ruthless man. But he is seriously handsome and when he smiles he looks so sweet. It's really amazing how he can switch between the two so seamlessly because it helps give depth to the character. Even though he may be the "bad guy," it's hard to dislike him. Jackson Tiller is an amazing actor and I hope to see more of him in the future.

I don't want to ruin the story for anyone, but I have to say that I docked a couple points off my rating because the ending was awful. Shocking and expected to say the least.

All the episodes had suspense, emotion. I liked the approach, everything was intense, a lot of action compressed into essential scenes. The film draws attention to many real problems of today's society (dark web, drugs, addictions). Very rarely was I able to anticipate the plot, which is good, the suspense was ensured. I liked the details on many frames, they gave a touch of reality. Very good idea to have a title for each episode. The appropriate soundtrack, perfectly emphasized the intensity of certain scenes. Big minus for the ending...dry. The main actors played very well. Jackson is a very versatile and expressive actor.
