Wild West C.O.W: Boys of Moo Mesa

Easy controls make this a drop in and play game fun for all ages, with run, gun, and jump your way through a variety of stages. A few stages were quite innovative in their game play mixing it up a bit from the typical running from left to right. Animation is smooth and colourful, music is like an electronic carnival. Story has a beginning, cut-scenes, and end which always makes these games worthwhile to play.

Not a lot of "specials" like leveling up, powering up, controllable mounts (hello? They're cowboys!), and so forth. Bosses look cool, but strategy is pretty much just tank them on down with your gun. Cartoony characters are fairly forgettable, but the game is definitely a credit to the genre! Certainly one to play with friends, especially if they're kids.
