    Good message, bad acting

This movie had a great message that should be taught and not be ignored. However, the acting, speaking lines and soundtrack needed a little help. They weren't the best and because of that, it was a little distracting. The movie had a good idea and I enjoyed the message. If you're not a stickler for acting and just want an uplifting show, this would be good for you. The story follows a boy who has bounced around from foster home to foster home not really sticking anywhere. Because of that, he becomes bitter and looses respect for those around him. He finally gets sent to a family who takes him in and endures all of his hard qualities. The story follows his change and teaches a good message about respect and God along the way.

    Not what Christianity is about

This movie does not represent Christianity well at all.

Ruby was alright, she looked like she was bring convicted and led by Him. The main character also.

But there are far more important things about God than "respect" and learning about the 10 commandments in such a tone def way.

The characters dont seem to have the love, mercy, and grace of God towards the main character. No wonder he blames God.

The main character has a pure and sincere heart that leads him to repent.. Whereas the adult characters..... Need work.. In fact, all of the teen characters were earnest and sincere despite their shortcomings. The adults seem to miss God entirely.

    Cinematography was good.

Good heart, if not great script nor acting

The movie has a "good heart", but the writing was sometimes disjointed, and the acting occasionally stilted. Still a nice bit of good messaging in entertainment.

    In the name of God

I just watched this movie with my family. We enjoyed not only the story line, but the acting was great. Patrick Davis ( Mason) played exceptionally well next to Eric Roberts. Roberts sincere portrayal of a therapist with humanity drove the group to understanding the true meaning of respect. The scene where Patrick (Mason) asks for forgiveness was intense. We were all moved to witness a moment in asking for forgiveness, which is a difficult thing to handle in real life, Mason managed to capture its essence. We are now looking forward to watch other movies with Davis. The actors that played his parents were very inspirational: their strength to overcome their son's death, their faith in their calling, the sense of community, were all played out beautifully by all the actors. Great job everyone!

    Everybody has to feel wanted

This Christian film touches on a basic need to feel we belong. The story is told to his congregation by Reverend John Ratzenberger about what happened at colleague Eric Roberts's church.

Young Patrick Davis, a troubled and irreverent youth is in some mandated group therapy at Reverend Eric Roberts's church. Roberts has also placed Davis in foster care with Peter Freeland and Robyn Lively and their son Garrett Palmer.

Davis has been bounced around to a lot of foster home s and the family is dealing with the death of another son. Somehow Davis and the family complete each other.

Nice story about the need to belong.
