    A must watch film!

A groundbreaking form of narration with the sparsest of dialogues, locating people in settings where their life experience is nevertheless communicated with sparkling clarity. Greater Things is a visual feast with perfectly framed shots and deft use of lighting focusing the viewers' attention on the action with intensity. The film thus feels like a long feature, while it is in fact dense and compact in the sense that good poetics consists of only expressing the essential while omitting everything else. Renowned Japanese actress Kaori Momoi puts in another superb performance, Toshinori Kondo displays a commanding presence and extraordinary skill on the trumpet, while Marius Zaromskis dominates the screen with his energy and Nezam Ardalan pitches his lost character with great subtlety. If you want to challenge and expand your observation of the human condition or simply enjoy a thrilling aesthetic journey, this is a must watch film!

    Brilliant Indie Film

This indie film showcases the darkness of feeling lonely. The story consistently relies on it's visual surroundings and does an amazing job. The director really deserves more praise for his great shots and brilliant architecture. The cast and characters are all dealing with their own problems and their trying to cope with them. It's a very sad yet beautiful film. The actors did a great job even when they had nothing to say, which is the majority of this movie. I really loved the characters and the presentation of this film. It deserves more praise and attention. If you want to see a beautiful and moving picture, Greater Things is for you.
