Do NOT watch this movie - it's a mish mash of scenes that are randomly sown together. Wonder if any thought was put into the making of the movie. Bad script, bad direction, and even worse acting. The only saving grace is the lead actress who at least makes an attempt. Spend 90 minutes doing something else more worthwhile than watching this morning.
Misrepresentation of culture, bad screenplay, dialogues and directing. Literally forced introduction of characters, cheesy and laboured jokes and passable acting. This is a serious waste of 90 minutes - an out of place song to introduce the male lead - I gave up when Tara Ried said, "Tandoori Brad Pitt" - Lots of inconsistencies in the plot too since American tourists cannot just jump on a flight to India - they need a VISA. The most irritating actor by far is the Mom - not because of the character she is portraying but because all her dialogues are so forced. Please avoid this movie at all costs.
Oh dear, I've never seen worse acting since our primary school play in 3rd grade! This movie is a complete cringe fest with no pause. There is literally nothing NOTHING that wasn't awful- from the story, to sets and makeup (ew caked up makeup on poor Tara Reid- speaking off, was she always this bad of an actress?) From Sonia's friend contact lenses and super bad acting, to the mother's cry and inconsistency of the story as well as the irrelevance of Tara in this whole crap show :( Just horrible!
This movie is so bad, I'm ashamed that I wasted time watching it. From the script to the "acting", this movie sets new standards for mediocrity. Absolutely pitiful.
Not the best movie in the world but it had a good solid plot. The mother and Beatrice were annoying and not good actors. The others were OK. The mother calling her daughter and telling her to come home because her father had a stroke was funny in its execution. Over all it was a good watch.
