Upon his return, he faces the challenge of restoring the rightful order within the royal family. As the contagion continues to spread, more people are shifting their allegiance toward Sajo Yung, who is presently incarcerated. Meanwhile, Sajo Hyeon, incapacitated by a Suma dart, remains immobile and speechless, while Ak Hee endeavors to maintain stability within the nation. Yeon Wol diligently seeks any clues that might guide her to Chung Ta in a desperate attempt to rescue Sajo Hyeon.

Ak Hee, betrayed by Chung Ta, finds himself immobilized with a dagger lodged in his back. Though Sajo Hyeon regains consciousness, he is also incapacitated and unable to assist Ak Hee. With both Ak Hee and Hyeon bound, the situation worsens as Sajo Yung is released from prison. Meanwhile, Yeon Wol is risking everything to rescue Hyeon and finally receives a glimmer of hope from Chung Ta.
