However, the signs of age are clear on both actors, and the movie doesn't give them strong enough material to fully showcase their talent. They are likable, but the script around them feels weak.

My husband and I watched this movie and we both loved it. Kevin and his wife are terrific together. They have great chemistry and classy acting skills. It's not a fast, thriller or car chasing drama but a simple movie about life and difficult relationships. I've always loved Judd Hirsh and ge did not disappoint. The daughter and singer was great.

I loved this movie. Thought it was funny, touching, complicated. Everything such a show should be. It's all about being human, being willing to be vulnerable and making up what you need to do to get by as you go. Very vivid characters and interplay among them. And the ending is very apt. Great acting and great dialogue.

Loved the comedic parts and how aging and real life problems related to the older generation were handled with hysterical laughable scripting. The heavier drama mixed in is similar to the things we all have to face sooner or later and are handled "the best you can".

Kevin Bacon's ML character is older, but still good looking for his age, cop security guard contrasts with the FL character who is a former smart nerd who became a urologist doctor who married a former Presidential administration member in the old days who is now losing his memory but wants to a book.

I deducted a couple of stars because I thought the dialog between the ML & FL got boring a couple of times while txting meaningless stuff just getting to know each other, and also thought the backstory of the MLs singer daughter was boring at times. Not sure if it were the casting or the songs.

I had the pleasure of seeing this movie at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was the most heartfelt, real, funny, sensitive film that reminds us all what it means to be human - flawed, hopeful, and searching for connection.

Watching Kevin and Kyra together on screen for the first time in 20 years was a sheer pleasure! Their real life chemistry just adds emotional depth and realism to the already amazing script.

My husband and I both related to different characters for different reasons but we both laughed and cried and came away with powerful reminder that everyone is just doing their best, even when it doesn't look perfect.
