WWE Raw keeps getting more electric.
Tonight, live from Buffalo, New York, championship gold hung in the balance and lingering tension from Saturday's shocking Elimination Chamber boiled over in a high-octane, Wrestlemania-altering night.
The show began with an infuriated Cm Punk popping out to verbally cook his enemies and nobody was safe. From The Rock to John Cena, Punk didn’t mince words while taking verbal jabs, then he physically expelled some rage by throwing hands with Seth Rollins, a brawl that earned the two a Steel Cage Match next week on Raw.
Continue below for the winners and losers of every match that went down tonight on Raw.
Next week, live from Madison Square Garden in New York, Seth Rollins clashes with Cm Punk in a Steel Cage Match, The Lwo face The New Day in a Tornado Tag Team Match, and Jey Uso goes head-to-head with Grayson Waller.

Kasie Hunt has long been known for her work on the political beat, but in days to come she hopes people will think of her for news about culture or sports, maybe the weather. When the news cycle delivers something weird or surprising, the CNN early-morning anchor says she is even “willing to make faces on the air.”
Cable’s A.M. news shows have thrived in recent years by focusing relentlessly on politics, Now CNN and Hunt want to scramble viewers’ perceptions by widening the network’s aperture. “We want to be there for them even when politics is not the lead,” says Hunt during a recent interview.

CNN’s new chief hopes primetime anchor Don Lemon can help the network gain ground in some of TV news’ toughest terrain.
Chris Licht, who has vowed to tone down some of the more aggressive commentary at the network since taking its reins earlier this year, has enjoyed an eyebrow-raising streak in morning news. He launched the durable MSNBC franchise “Morning Joe” in 2007 and then helped CBS gain new momentum in the a.m. in 2012 by starting “CBS This Morning.” Neither program was the most-watched of its brethren, but Licht gained new viewership for the networks that backed him by providing more substantial conversation among anchors and ignoring some of the frillier elements of the time period, like cooking demonstrations or street interviews with passersby.
Now he’s betting he can do the same for CNN, even as TV networks are seeing new challenges to their sunrise efforts.

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down this week…
Match #1: Ricochet def. Sami Zayn The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Ricochet once again got SmackDown off to a hot start, facing off against “The Honorary Uce” Sami Zayn. Ricochet had his work cut out for him as he had nearly all of The Bloodline, including a returned Paul Heyman, at ringside in the corner of Zayn. Logan Paul, however, was in the corner of Ricochet offering him some backup. Ricochet attempted a Standing Moonsault but Zayn got his knees up in time, nearly grabbing a two-count victory in the process. Zayn followed up on this with a Blue Thunder Bomb but Logan Paul distracted the referee, disabling The Master Strategist from earning the win. In the final stages of the match,...

New CNN boss Chris Licht’s latest — and biggest — shakeup of the news network’s lineup signals an attempt to hit two (or three) birds with one stone.
By shifting Don Lemon from his 10 p.m. Et perch after a seven-year run, Licht is eliminating the lowest-rated show in primetime cable news, according to August ratings from Nielsen Media Research — while also quieting critics who have targeted Lemon’s opinionated hosting style. And by tapping Lemon to lead the network’s as-yet-untitled new morning show alongside Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins, Licht also aims to give new life to another key part of the schedule that has long lagged behind MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” in viewership.

Chris Licht made his first big programming move at CNN with the announcement that Don Lemon will leave primetime (and his post-primetime hour) to anchor a new morning show with Poppy Harlow (who is leaving 9 a.m.) and Kaitlan Collins. For those who mourn the loss of “Don Lemon Tonight,” here’s the thing: It was failing.
“Chris is redeploying our talent in ways he thinks make sense and will resonate,” a CNN spokesperson told IndieWire on Thursday. “This won’t be the last.”
“Don Lemon Tonight” is in last place in viewers across CNN, Fox News Channel, and MSNBC, in both hours. The primetime hour at 10 is down 42 percent year-to-year in total viewers and 48 percent in the key news demographic of adults 25-54, according to Nielsen. The 11 p.m. hour is down 35 percent and 45 percent, respectively.

CNN is shaking up its morning programming as the network has announced a brand new morning news program to be anchored by Don Lemon, Poppy Harlow, and Kaitlan Collins. The trio will be replacing John Berman and Brianna Keilar, the current hosts of CNN’s morning show New Day. Berman and Keilar will continue to anchor New Day until the new show debuts later this year with a fresh name, format, and set. The former hosts will then move onto new roles at the network, with further details expected in the coming weeks. “There is no stronger combination of talent than Don, Poppy and Kaitlan to deliver on our promise of a game-changing morning news program,” said CNN Worldwide Chairman and CEO Chris Licht. “They are each uniquely intelligent, reliable and compelling; together they have a rare and palpable chemistry. Combined with CNN’s resources and global newsgathering capabilities, we will offer a smart,...

Don Lemon will lose his primetime CNN show on weeknights to co-anchor the network’s reimagined morning show with Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins, the network announced Thursday.

CNN is hoping to wake up its morning schedule.
The Warner Bros. Discovery-backed news outlet unveiled a new lineup for its morning block, installing Don Lemon, Kaitlan Collins and Poppy Harlow in place of the current hosts, John Berman and Brianna Keilar. Chris Licht, CNN’s chairman and chief executive, has had some of his greatest career success in morning news, having launched MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and retooled the program once known as “CBS This Morning.”
The new CNN program, retitled and with a new set, is expected to debut later this year — and looks to emulate some of the formats Licht has led in the past. Both “CBS This Morning” and “Morning Joe” hinged on spirited conversation among a broader group of panelists, some of whom talk more to each other than they do directly to viewers at home.

Chris Cuomo has a new primetime TV show on a new cable news channel, but he won’t be bringing his former CNN audience over with him. Not in its entirety, at least — not nearly.
The “Cuomo Prime Time” alum is joining Nexstar Media Group’s cable network NewsNation this fall as the host of his own primetime show there. The channel has not yet said which hour Cuomo will occupy; he had the 9 p.m. hour at CNN, which is now “CNN Tonight’s” timeslot. NewsNation is built on the concept of leaning neither hard left nor hard right, instead targeting the meaty middle between left-of-center and right-of-center. Unfortunately, thus far, the channel has not found a sizable audience there.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo duked it out with White House Counsellor Kellyanne Conway in a lengthy and combative interview on “New Day” on Wednesday. Despite beginning cordially, it quickly got heated, as Conway and Cuomo shouted over each other. Things were at their nastiest on the subject of Roy Moore. Trump officially offered his endorsement to Moore earlier this week, despite multiple accusations of sexual misconduct — including fondling a 14-year-old girl. “It seems like that you have no standard of morality. That it’s all political pragmatism,” said Cuomo, who marveled at Trump’s decision to throw his weight behind Moore this.
