From Embers kept me guessing what was coming next. I absolutely loved the performances from leads and supports. Matthew Morrison was amazing in this! His chemistry with Kara Wang was great from their first scene to the last.
Kayla was great in this film as well and lit up the scene every time she appeared. The father and daughter bonding time was great to see and believable.
On a technical side, the production was great with really good cinematography and direction for all the actors. The world you see unfold is gripping and builds suspense well for a big climax.
Overall it was a good film, I recommend it.

From Embers was fun a watch. Had me guessing at times, laughing at times, and at the edge of my seat the rest of the time. I watched Glee growing up and loved Matthew in this and Kara was exceptional. It's movie you need to pay attention when watching or you'll miss something important. By the end I was impressed.
From Embers is a really captivating movie that pulls you in from the start. It tells the story of two people, played by Matthew Morrison and Kara Wang, whose lives get tangled together in a way that feels both unexpected and emotional. What I liked most was how the film balances drama with moments that feel really real and relatable, without being over the top. The chemistry between the leads felt natural, which made their journey even more engaging. The story moves at a steady pace, keeping you interested but also giving you time to connect with the characters. Overall, it's a thoughtful and heartfelt film that's definitely worth watching if you like movies about relationships and personal growth. Not super flashy, but definitely leaves an impression.
Saw this film with my girls and was thrown in for a deep story and twists. It was unexpected and sad. Loved the mother, Kara did an amazing job. Matthew of course is dreamy as always! The music was a fun touch and carried the mood. It gave me some La La Land vibes in a good way! Good date night film.
Huge Matthew Morrison fan right here, but Kara Wang completely stole the spotlight. Her performance is stunning! Both raw and graceful, and very deeply emotional. From Embers is tender, poetic, and quietly powerful. I came for Matthew, stayed for Kara, and left genuinely moved. Can't recommend it enough.
