Wow...I've watched many YouTube videos of hamsters going through elaborate obstacle courses, and I've been impressed! I've even made some homemade versions of my own out of legos. So, clearly I was excited to see this show! If you can get past the janky human courses made by local high school theater students, I think you'll be impressed The speed and accuracy of Shadow and Kevin, the hamsters, blew me away. The humans fare well on some of the obstacles, but they just can't compete on a hamster wheel and a tunnel. Maybe hamsters really are the superior species after all. Find out for yourself!
I was on the hunt for a family-friendly show and stumbled upon this gem during my search. I played the preview and immediately decided to hit play, and I'm so glad I did! This delightful series has captured our hearts as we find ourselves rooting for the adorable little hamsters. The background stories of each hamster add a charming touch that keeps everyone engaged. It's not just the kids who are entertained; Dad, Mom, our teen, and tween are all sharing laughs at the clean competition unfolding on screen. We're even picking up fascinating facts about hamster traits along the way! I love how they stuff their tiny faces with food-it's absolutely endearing. Plus, the hamster puns throughout the show are reminiscent of those classic dad jokes that surprisingly make you chuckle. Overall, this is such a cute and wholesome show that's perfect for family viewing. Highly recommend everyone give it a try!
Yeah. Go ahead. Try it for yourself. High concept premise in the same vein as the 1970s craptacular shows like "That's Incredible", "Real People", and "Celebrity Bowling". Yes, it will kill brain cells but what doesn't these days? Despite the best efforts of the familar reality show fixer upper producers, it grows tedious rather quickly. You'll be entertained right up to the point where you turn it off before the end of the first show. And in less than a year, almost nobody will remember having watched this at all. It is just that myopic in its lack of vision and execution. The three point score is purely awarded for the original concept, but still destined for obscurity amongst the annals of television flops.
Sorry, but humans and hamsters both have better ways to spend their time.

In the proud tradition of "Is it Cake?" and "Wipeout", this ridiculous, fun game show is supremely entertaining. The hamsters are cute, the events are challenging, but Kyle Brandt is what makes this really special.
He's an NFL personality, I love him on the Rewatchables podcast, and his quick witted one liners keep the silliness in perspective. The contestants are fun, and even if the stakes are ridiculously low (Time Warner is really hurting for money, huh?), everyone seems to be competitive enough that you still get caught up in the results. I didn't expect to binge 7 episodes of hamster content, but here we are.

Just Finished The Penguin and it seems that Max is already putting out another hit!!!
I happened to be in the right mood at the right time to catch the first episode of Human vs Hamster on its release date. I did not even realize until I checked IMDB.
I am watching the show on my own now, but it is a fun enough concept with good enough execution that I am inclined to introduce it to my kids and my partner.
Human vs Hamster is so so silly and I cannot help but love it. I will be keeping an eye out for new episodes as they come out.
Sorry fellow humans, but I have to root for the hamsters!!!
