The story of 3 friends as they attempt to come up with an unconventional gift for their religious friend's bachelor party.

Men of the Hour made me laugh more than most feature length comedies! This short is clever and very cheeky; shocking you in the best ways without being mean-spirited. The actors obviously get the chance to improv a little and enjoy themselves on set. It's really rewarding to see a good story idea get executed well with good actors and crew and be as entertaining as Men of the Hour is! This could easily be a Judd Apatow or Will Ferrell movie. It's a solid premise with hilarious situations and not a dull moment! Definitely worth sharing with friends and family! Maybe not your grandma... unless she's awesome. In which case, show your grandma this movie!

Clever and laugh out loud funny

What silliness lurks in the brains of young men? Our heroes want to do something for their soon-to-be-married friend. And this is what happens when they turn off their "edit" function and let creativity take them...wherever. With us along for the ride. The performances are genuine and compelling. Brandon Burtis shines in his role as the instigator. He's so crazily manic and inspired that you want to join him, too. Marc Leclerc also does a great job, starting as a more "normal" person, then getting dragged into Burtis' inspired creativity and adding his own. Shannon Wagner brings perspective to the undertaking -- she knows the whole thing is goofy, but can't help but get sucked in. Writer/director Michaela Stewart shares a particularly uninhibited creative process with us -- and we have a wonderful time right along with her characters.

Hilarious short film sure to amuse young dudes

"Men of the Hour" is a clever and playful mash-up of modern tropes, such as outrageous bachelor party entertainments, lame porn film filler scenes, and last but definitely not least, modern personifications of Jesus. Film writer/director Michaela Stewart deftly works this palette into a giddy, tongue-in-cheek, froth of a film.

The characters quickly move from ennui and boredom into a creative mania, all in the name of upholding the banner of supreme prankster-ism and providing entertainment for particularly chaste and religious young friend's bachelor party. An entertainment that they are determined he will never, ever forget.

Actor Brandon Burtis leads the charge, goading the group into creative action with his manic enthusiasm, the same way his character powers this 10 minute film forward. Shannon Wagner, as his deadpan and wary girlfriend finds empowerment behind the camera. Marc Leclerc, as an initially reluctant partner in this prank, merrily tries out porn stereotype character after character in search of the most outrageous and hilarious. They seem very pleased with their film in the end, I think you'll like it too.

    Hilariously wrong :D

It's a refreshing take on bachelor parties, something completely different.

Imaginative, captivating, I didn't see time pass as I watched the film. Not only where the actors in role throughout, but the cinematography was great as well.

Provocative is probably the best word to describe this movie. The role religion plays in it may make it a little bit too "out there" for some, but seems to work out because it isn't done in a particularly offensive way.

In short, good movie, good actors, and make sure you watch the bloopers!
