Watched it (FINALLY) last night. This documentary is amazing!
A REAL look into girls wrestling and how the sport (or any sport for that matter) allows these girls to forget their worries/stress even just for 1 hour a day, and unleash raw passion and dedication to something they love. They reminded me of myself when I was in high school. I could completely relate to the happiness of giving it my all, despite whatever was going on in my home/personal life. I looked in the eyes of each of those young ladies on the screen, and could FEEL and UNDERSTAND.
Anyway, I could go on and on. Let me say this, I would definitely recommend this documentary to ANY young person, so they can see that life is a battle, but as long as you put your heart and soul into EVERYTHING you believe in, you can walk away (win or lose) knowing you faced the challenge and gave it your all. Progress is never without struggle. It's the struggle and pain that you look back on with gratitude and humility.
