I've never watched the Argentinian series... and I can say that I'm blown away.
I'm also not a big fan of comedies, but this one was perfect for me.
In the begginig she was so annoying, and that was point of the show, but from every episode she was more and more likeable. I had a really good laugh.
And really good thing is that I rethink about myself, and concluded that I and all women have it in us, a touch of envy. Sometimes we don't have a good day and everyone's life seems better than ours. But reality always surfaces, as it was shown in this show.
I am from Europe and I can say sadly that women here are still consider "failure" if they are 40 and without husband and kids, and that is sad.
I especially liked the character of the psychologist, if I go to therapy I would like her to be just like her!
10/10 from me and I am really suprised.

This show is an absolute gem. I love the script, the actors, everything is relatable, every character is someone you most probably know in real life. The main character is not meant to be liked - she has many flaws, but that's exactly the point. Her behavior, her contradictions, the way she interacts with people - it's raw, real, and sometimes painfully accurate. It doesn't try to sugarcoat anything or present idealized versions of people. It just shows them as they are.
The familiarity brought me very close to the Argentinian culture, and I love it. Even though I'm not from Argentina, there's something universally human in the way relationships are portrayed - the messy family dynamics, the social awkwardness, the emotional chaos. It felt like home.
The humor is subtle, dark at times, but never forced. The pacing is also great - not rushed, not dragged - just enough to let moments breathe. The side characters add so much texture to the story. They're not just background noise; they have their own depth and arcs, which makes the whole thing more immersive.
It's not often that a show makes me feel both seen and uncomfortable in the best way. That's rare. Fingers crossed for a third season!

If you are a fan of romantic comedies this show is definitely for you. Like old classics such as "The Awful Truth", "When Harry Met Sally" or new classics like "To All the Boys I Loved Before", it's filled with amazing comic timing, romance and great chemistry. It's got plenty of twists and surprises that are refreshing and somehow keep u guessing. You think you what happens next, but then the writer will one up you and you'll laugh hysterically. Somehow it makes it more believable bc life is more unpredictable than most Netflix shows. What really sets this show apart is how heartfelt it is. I cried just about as much as I laughed. You fall in love w the main character along with her costar. There was this one amazing scene that I watched 5 times. I've never done that before but as a fan of film and television, I was astounded by the impeccable portrayals and the writing. Nothing was in excess. Nothing was lacking. It was the perfect declaration. The one Jane Austen wld pen today if she was a modern author. Pls watch this and fall in love with romantic comedies again.
I loved every episode-it kept me hooked from start to finish! The story was incredibly relatable, especially through the character of Vicky. I felt her pain, hope, happiness, dreams, confusion, and love drama deeply. Her journey resonates with so many women today who struggle to find a supportive partner while balancing their dreams of building a family and pursuing a career. I experienced every emotion as if it were my own.
I absolutely loved it and wish there were more series like this-realistic and emotionally grounded-rather than the overly dreamy ones we usually see. This series truly reflected real-life experiences, making it all the more impactful.

Maybe it is just the incredible talent of the writers and the female lead to give life and shape to such a horrible, self-absorbed, selfish, insensitive, revolting person. The show is otherwise great, the cast is brilliant, wonderful production values, the writing is solid, Esteban Lamothe's character is dreamy etc. However, into episode 8 I just cannot stomach the female protagonist anymore. There is also something old-fashioned and disturbing about a 40-something middle-class woman in Buenos Aires desperate to get married. I cannot watch the show any longer. I can't stand Vicky, her tantrums, her first-world emotional problems (she may live in Argentina but she's an insufferable emotional Karen). Hasta aquí llego.
