Has there ever been a television show that was available NOWHERE? Why don't they want anyone to watch this? It's full of big name stars and sounds terrific.
I caught an episode online and loved it; when I looked on all the usual places (iTunes, Hulu, Netflix, Google, etc.) I found that no one carries this and it's not available in the U.S. for some reason. Kind of a disappointment.
Showed the real aspects of sex and violence in people's real lives. Also the actors had amazing bodies
The first series of episodes is very good, a balanced mixture of drama, personal and collective, where characters leave nothing for granted, everyone has a white and black side if not even a gray one, like real life (despite some quite too stressed aspects). Series 2 and 3 seem to have lost the sense which made the 1 quite intriguing. The worst part is series 3, the main plot about a set of "copy paper suicides", where fingerprints, biological traces and whatever seem not to exist. Same for the side plot of the mass murder, with not useful killing of a guy. Everything quite pointless, just a poor libidinous eye catcher for male nudity appreciation in various stages of fitness.
Sex & Violence
Leaving the obvious till later this was a well written well acted gripping series of crime stories. It was a shame, but perhaps not unexpected, that several central characters were murdered just as it was getting interesting.
Now to tackle the sex, in the main this neither added nor subtracted and perhaps just made it more everyday, but of course limited this shows audience. I didn't find it either particularly prurient, interesting or totally gratuitous, but it had its moments, and it was certainly not titillating.
The violence was well handled in the main but why was it all dragged out in the last episode, we saw the same scene no less than 4 times.
Of course if the police had a serial killer suspect they would have thrown every resource at it and not taken their time.
My only other observation was practically the whole community was displayed as having little or no moral compass and this in reality is not the case.
