This is just a mini series. That sucks bad. This show is by far the most sexiest show on TV right know,It has girl on girl sex,guy on guy sex, girl on guy sex. The violence has more of a real aspect to it then the other crap cop shows like ncis/law and order..etc.. And its Canadian Support the Canadian film making folks. I'm very upset there is not a huge season of shows..I'm hoping however they come. I am hooked..Well I suppose I did not say enough there needs to be 10 lines on here for a review. I have this recorded on my pvr,I have been waiting for tonights episode since a week now...WOW...WOW...I have never seen the real life situations shown on TV like they do this show,I got it bad for the girl cop to..I want her to take me down..
The first series of episodes is very good, a balanced mixture of drama, personal and collective, where characters leave nothing for granted, everyone has a white and black side if not even a gray one, like real life (despite some quite too stressed aspects). Series 2 and 3 seem to have lost the sense which made the 1 quite intriguing. The worst part is series 3, the main plot about a set of "copy paper suicides", where fingerprints, biological traces and whatever seem not to exist. Same for the side plot of the mass murder, with not useful killing of a guy. Everything quite pointless, just a poor libidinous eye catcher for male nudity appreciation in various stages of fitness.
I caught an episode online and loved it; when I looked on all the usual places (iTunes, Hulu, Netflix, Google, etc.) I found that no one carries this and it's not available in the U.S. for some reason. Kind of a disappointment.

Thought it was going to be so so but the tight storyline and suspense had me hooked - wished they carried on for more seasons. Only flaw was setting it in Atlantic Canada - where the number of crimes in a single episode likely don't occur in an entire year
This is not a cop show , its a show about domestic violence and people who are affected by it,cops, social workers and the victims. It is a depressing show and even the sex is depressing. How anyone can think the sex displayed here is at all erotic or arousing has a screw loose. In saying that , even though it's hard watching it , it is one of the best drama's i have seen this year and if you can handle the subject matter and the graphic nature , then you are rewarded for your time.I'm pretty sure that it's not only Canada where this happens and if nothing else comes from this show then the awareness the show will raise about Domestic violence is enough
