Messi Meets America

Quite possibly the best sports doco ever made and there is still an episode to go!! The back stories on the local players, Messi's humility, the way the drama of each game is represented, totally amazing.

Some players are just bigger than the game itself, I loved the phrase, "there are Legends then there is Messi".

I now support Inter Miami, oh where can I get a shirt from. The connection to David Beckham is also special. The Beckham doco was up there with Jordan's "Last Dance" but "Messi to American" could quite possibly by the best of them all.

Sport is life's best drama, this was so amazing you would have thought it was choreographed!

The three first episodes were ok, they have great footage and it's very well put together but since it's a documentary, I was expecting to see more of the behind the scenes, to learn things we haven't seen yet. Most of the information and content we have watched already throughout TV, newspaper and social media since Messi's arrival was very well documented everywhere. Anyhow is amazing to witness what Messi has brought not only to the MLS but to the United States. If you haven't seen anything about Messi and Inter Miami, then you will find that this series tells a great story, the story of a guy who conquered everything as an athlete and still wants to keep playing because he really loves football.

So it's called Messi Meets America but he is Argentinian so he is from the Americas. Obviously, the people naming it are idiots, did they really not see how extremely offensive that is not to mention it doesnt make sense..

Think its like having lets say Mbappe, move to the prem and we make a Video called Mbappe meets Europe, it does make sence coz he is french and already from europe .

They could have called it Messi Meets MLS or Messi Meets North America or even Messi Meets Miami... any of those options but no the when for the insulting one ...
