In this sweet little contemporary fairy tale, a Personal Assistant is contracted to work for a Prince living in America. While the story and characters may be familiar territory and the budget is clearly low, the cast and crew make this an enjoyable time. Locations and music added to the mix in a nice fashion. Amanda Nicholas and Ellen Williams were especially wonderful together. The rest of the cast made for a fun time overall. While perhaps too light or too low budget for some stuffy audience members, I found the entire effort well measured and worth my time. It is often refreshing to see a film absent of the big trappings of Hollywood Blockbusters yet still contain the heart and cleverness to keep things moving.
I can't word it better than the review that has "one dimensional" in it's title. Bad performances, bad wardrobe, but I too couldn't stop watching the train wreck of a movie happen. While the premise is a but ludicrous, the premise of most Hallmark style movies are also ludicrous. But I still love them. This has nothing to love.
Also low budget doesn't need to mean awful. Overall, this movie should go in a list of don't waste your time movies. And the wardrobe styist and their likely limited budget could have at least made sure the lead characters clothing fit properly. It hangs in all the wrong ways.

I guess really, the question is answered in this film... the story is completely unbelievable, the actors were worse than in my junior high school drama class, the wardrobe... well, what the heck... it looked like it was from my junior high school drama class too... I don't know who wrote it, who directed it, who produced it, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was all done by people in the junior high drama class... I kept watching hoping it would improve. It doesn't, then it became a I can't take my eyes of the train wreck happening in front of me... But I had to write a review so that no one else will waste their time... unless you're looking for a good laugh at how bad a movie can be. In that case, pour yourself a cocktail or two and laugh your head off!
Know that this wasn't meant to be Shakespeare - and the film's title warns the viewer that it's going to be a bit of a fluff - but it wasn't enjoyable fluff. Completely ridiculous premise with absolutely no sense of reality - the characters are mostly cartoonish and the whole production feels cheap - 90 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Feel ashamed that I stuck with it to the soppy, bitter end, in the vague hope that it had to get better, as it couldn't become any worse. Big mistake. Whoever wrote the screenplay should be ashamed of themselves - or maybe it was tweaked too many times by misguided producers. Whatever the reason, it stinks. Run, don't walk.

- GoofsWhen Gloria swoops in to save Lucy and send her to the Ball at 1hr14', she goes to her closet to find a dress for Lucy to wear... This is despite the fact that the actress playing Lucy is 5'9 (175cm) and the actress playing Gloria is 5'5 (165cm). And the fact they have completely different body types. But hey presto! When Lucy puts on one of Gloria's dresses it fits like a glove.
