This film is not for everyone. Daddy's Spitting Maidens is a collection of stories of girls who describe their first sexual relationships and their unseemly falls in love. Only their salivating mouths are framed; the stories are told using female voice-overs characterized by a sense of distance. The film explores the meanderings of human morality and political correctness, leading us on an inner journey in search of ourselves. This is not a standard film; it follows its own structure. Perhaps it could be labeled an art movie. Daddy's Spitting Maidens leaves us with some points for reflection. The background music is sometimes ominous, most of the time consisting of low frequencies that help us focus on the voice-overs. The music is composed by KKOT, an artist who has previously worked with Sid Lucero on 'Pink for the Masses'.
Daddy's Spitting Maidens by Sid Lucero, the dude behind the awesome Pink for the Masses, is legit one of the wildest and creepiest films I've seen in ages. It's just these girls, or really their drooling mouths, spilling super personal stories about their first sexual experiences. Some of it's straight-up messed up, but they talk so casual, and that's what makes it hit so hard. The editing's crazy, almost like a music video, and the sound is next-level good. As it keeps going, it dives deep into the dark, messed-up parts of people, stripping away all the fake niceness till you're staring at something raw... and it feels weirdly normal. It also totally rips apart political correctness, maybe to justify itself. I thought I knew what I was getting into, but man, Lucero's got a way of telling stories that stick with you big time.

- Trivia"Daddy's Spitting Maidens" is the second film in Sid Lucero's Nostalgore trilogy. Nostalgore is an independent and low-cost subgenre of horror cinema that harnesses evocative images of wondrous and authentic situations that are about to vanish forever, to create an atmosphere of melancholy, loss, and unease. These nostalgic images are blended with raw and gruesome scenes in order to create a strong emotional contrast and heighten tension in the audience. Pink for the Masses, from 2023, is the first film of this kind and employs this technique to convey intense emotions to the audience.
