Overloaded with unnecessary elements or distractions. Instead of focusing on the core elements that make a movie great, such as a compelling plot, well-developed characters, and effective storytelling, this particular movie includes gratuitous scenes, or irrelevant subplots that detract from the overall viewing experience.
In essence, a good movie should be streamlined, purposeful, and focused on delivering a meaningful and engaging story, rather than trying to incorporate every possible cinematic feature or gimmick. It underscores the importance of quality over quantity in the art of filmmaking.

I watched this movie in the USA, and as someone who thoroughly enjoyed and rated Pashupati Prasad, I can't help but express my immense disappointment with this spinoff. To both the writer and director, Khagendra dai and Dipendra dai, I expected more, and to say I feel let down is an understatement.
It feels like the two decided to cash in on the success of Pashupati Prasad without putting in the effort to deliver a compelling story. The protagonist's mission seems to come out of nowhere, lacking the depth and engagement that made Pashupati Prasad so captivating. The first half of the movie moves at a sluggish pace, reminiscent of a bus journey from Kathmandu to Muglin during a traffic jam-slow and with no real progress.
As the film unfolds, the protagonist's unusual voice becomes not only tiresome but also irritating. The storyline itself is loose, progressing without a clear purpose, almost as if it's moving for the sake of moving - Basme Don's motive would have been achieved so easily. The only silver lining is the character portrayed by Swastima. Even the ending feels like a half-hearted attempt, as if they're saying, "If this works, we'll just make another one and earn some more money."
As a fan, I expected more from Khagendra dai and Dipendra dai, and unfortunately, this spinoff falls significantly short of the expectations set by all your previous works. I will now be skeptical and do more research the next time your film releases.

Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhasmey Don was a movie I eagerly anticipated after enjoying the first installment. Sadly, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I realized that this sequel offered nothing more than a recycled plot with different characters and styles.
The story felt like a replay of the original, making it challenging to distinguish between the two films. The story's of character, while new, lacked depth and failed to capture my interest in the same way as the original first 1. I had hoped for fresh twists and turns, but they were conspicuously absent. There were only turns for me.
On the positive side, the movie retained the high production values and impressive cinematography of the first film. However, these technical aspects couldn't make up for the lack of originality in the story. They missed the mark by delivering a lackluster rehash that failed to recapture the charm of the original.
In the end, "Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhasmey Don" was a missed opportunity to build on the strengths of its predecessor. It left me feeling disappointed as a fan of the franchise, and it's difficult to justify a high rating when the film essentially repeats the same formula without bringing any meaningful innovation to the table.
Hoping to get good sequel, Pashupati Prasad 3 where it will be good ending of some characters.

Bhasme Don (2023), the sequel to Pashupati Prasad, follows the journey of Bhasme Don (Bipin Karki) as he searches for his biological parents while struggling to gather money. The film delivers emotional depth and humor, driven by Karki's outstanding performance. However, it relies heavily on nostalgia from its predecessor, making the story feel somewhat repetitive. While the cinematography and music enhance the experience, some viewers may find the plot predictable. Overall, Bhasme Don is an engaging film with strong acting but falls short of the impact Pashupati Prasad had. It is the nice movie.
It was far below the Expectations. Though the performance of the actor was good but the way plot lacked everything.
The first part of the movie was a masterpiece, and everyone had a great expectations. But at the end it was nothing as expected, Yes it was kind of a built up movie for the next part. But it failed to connect with the audience.
There was no proper story and that was the biggest drawback, The writer with the movie like Paniphoto and Pashupati prasad, we had a bigger expectations. Hope the next part could be a better watch.
But yes climax of the movie was pretty unexpected, people would surely cheer up if the plot was satisfactory.
