Day of the Gun

So, so bad. Poor acting, poor writing, poor casting, poor makeup, poor lighting... I kept thinking that it had to be a spoof, or a student film.

Then I saw the budget was $150,000... and it started to make sense. Can you even make a feature-length film for that much?

There is just so much wrong with this film from production values, to acting, to costumes, to historic accuracy and onward. The premise of the script is fairly accurate but after that it just falls apart and fails on all counts. So don't waste your time hoping that they filmed this sequentially and it may improve as you get further into the story, it does not! I kept it streaming as I was doing other things listening and hoping something would draw my full attention but it never did. By the way they did not use 1980's style bows and arrows in the 1880's.

So even though you can catch it for free streaming online, don't waste your time.
