Just recently saw this movie and the storyline is okay i just the find the main character to be a very laid back and emotional actress, both her and the father are amazing. Also there is something special about the character of the Dj C'ya i wish the movie explored more of his role. This 3 characters alone could have made the entire movie amazing as the rest of the actors they just drown in.
The Music is amazing and the sync is excellent and knowing the lead actress is actually the original singer thats good news. Im not a huge fan of christian worship songs but the songs in the movie really got something in them.

So one thing about this film is it truly embodies that one solid taste South African story tellers used to have back in the days when telling our stories was about fighting for quality not space in the market instead rather being faithful to our condition. For me its a straight forward story and obvious to see where the director put more weight on. After watching it got me thinking about me and my daughter's relationship. Moments i missed out on and times i chose my fun and by the time i woke up my daughter was an addict and suffering from depression yet we stayed in the same house i still failed to be there. To any father who get to see this film you dont have to pretend make that call, drive over there ask your daughter how can i be there for you .
Mmh the soundtracks are on another level and ts actually the main source that keeps one glued to the film. Without a doubt its easy for one to spot this is another indie budget film from home, never the less the direction is on point and actors are fairly good . I wont lie i was surprised to see Peter Mashigo as one of the leads on a film, i wish the film showcased him more considering he's a big name. I am also disappointed that even one of the greatest actresses Andy Mnguni had a few scenes it would have been lovely to see more of her.
The main actress Nozi my 8 stars goes to her, looking forward to seeing more of her in the near future.

There's not much to say honestly as it just another art film with typical thematics.though it capture true emotions of a broken family setting .the character Vuyo Known as Peter Mashigo is a legend in the game and he killed his role. And andile Mhlongo is one amazing popular actor in South Africa I enjoyed his role here way better than all his Mzansi Magic cheap films the director did his home work with him . With that said it's another predictable film you'll forget overnight. But the songs are super well done the composer is the same writer /director of the film something so very rare in Mzansi.
