Another amazing thriller with no boring episode at all

"The Deal" is a amazing thriller K-drama. One of the standout elements of this series is the character of Lee Jun Seong, brilliantly portrayed by the talented actor Yoo Seung Ho. I just love his performance. His nuanced performance is a cornerstone of the series, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre.

What makes Lee Jun Seong so compelling is his ability to convey a wide spectrum of emotions. Whether he is grappling with internal conflicts, dealing with high-stakes situations, or navigating relationships, his emotional portrayal is always on point. Yoo Seung Ho's performance ensures that every emotional beat feels real and impactful. His expressions, body language, and dialogue delivery are meticulously crafted, adding layers to his character and making his journey believable and engaging.

The plot of "The Deal" is another aspect that makes it a standout thriller. I love all kdrama thrillers but plot for this one is so unique for me that k binge watch this show. The story is intricately woven, with twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge.

For me this series does an excellent job of building tension and creating a sense of urgency.

It delves into issues of trust, betrayal, and survival, challenging the characters and ThankGod the ending was so good because most of the thriller kdramas do not have satisfying ending.

For anyone who loves a good thriller, "The Deal" is a must-watch. Its engaging plot, strong performances, especially by Yoo Seung Ho as Lee Jun Seong, and emotional depth make it a standout in the genre. The intense storyline and well-drawn characters ensure that it stays with you long after you've finished watching.

In conclusion, I'm definitely recommending this one for you all.

    Good Enough

Korean Drama '' The Deal '' is a thriller about three friends and a really sticky situation.

The drama starts out pretty strongly and is a psychologically twisty spiral that goes deeper and deeper into darkness, as the characters have to make their choices.

However, the drama suffers from its short length. Thus, it didn't have the chance to have a smooth progress, or have things develop organically. And, as the drama started adding more genres and more situations and twists, everything happened too quickly. In the end, the conclusion was rushed as well.

The performances, on the other hand, were all great by everyone in the cast.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

Not your usual K-drama crime thriller.

I have had a fair share of K-drama experience, and I do watch it here and there expecting exactly the expected, some usual clichés, comedy with goofy music, the talking out loud parts to explain the audience, and its fine, I like it, I dive in this every once in a while to just lay back and enjoy with little to no worries.

Then this show comes up, I try to go for a show without going much into the plot but rather the genre I am in mood for. Sadly I read a single line that did mention kidnapping, but to my surprise that did not ruin anything at all for me.

The show starts off with this right from the get go, and its freaking great start off with the music, the character intro, the location and moves well with each new interesting scenes, and if you are going to enjoy the first episode, then I am sure you would love the rest with the ending. Now I did start off big with comparing with others cos it is, it is definitely different from others. Well atleast for me it is, the show surprised me with some of the elements, the characterization felt organic, for every character, the actors did good, when I try to think back about it, sure there were some incidents of typical drama stuff but it just went over me to notice it when I was watching it, cos show was kinda raw and felt very different while engaging and fun.

Also if you are a K-drama viewer like me, you would have also noticed alot of these shows have 13+ mostly 15-16 episodes per season, and that doesnt make necessarily bad for all shows, there is definitely a forced stretch in these kind of shows, the difference is how each show executes them, shows like Stranger , The good detective did well for me, I didnt get bored. So a bonus for me with this show was the 8 episodes, which I feel is the right amount, definitely the right amount for a K-drama.

Definitely worth the watch if you like crime, thriller, not your usual K-drama that's for sure.

    Good Boys Turned Bad

Another raw, no holds barred drama from Wavve, in the same uncompromising vein as the previous Wavve offering, "Weak Hero Class I (2022)".

The Perfect Deal features two ordinary young men thrown into the remorseless world of criminality, despite being patently ill prepared and unready for the lurid consequences of wandering, open-eyed into this grisly, twilight world of kidnapping and recompenses. Though just a miniseries (8 episodes in all) the stark, often blood-curdling realities encountered by so-called normal people, lured by the promise of gain into the potentially barbarous treatment of others is very reminiscent of the vintage US series Breaking Bad (2008-13), and whatever the differences of scale between the two dramas, the effect on the audience is just as face-on and, at times shocking. Those that enjoy tense dramas will probably warm to this one, which is guaranteed to jolt, and to keep you on the edge of your seat. I am looking forward, after watching 3 episodes to discovering just how the plot unravels, and whether anybody at all shall escape with life and liberty, or something a lot more lucrative?

A person who is faced with a criminal case that changes everything in his life

The story is fresh and interesting, raising themes that are rarely presented in a film or series but which often occur in the real world. The theme of kidnapping was carried out by someone close to him, namely his friend, because he wanted to ask for ransom money for college fees and pay off debts and change his poor life. The storyline is light but packaged with good cinematography which adds an interesting impression to each episode, the main and supporting characters play the scenes in this story quite well, giving a natural impression, as a kidnapper who is firm and realistic in thinking about things based on facts. On the other hand, there is a conflict with his conscience, namely feelings of guilt for his actions and fear.
