The Typhoon aircraft is Eurofighter built and operated by a consortium of mostly European nations, it has its origins in a British Aerospace development prototype. The planes are designed to be highly unstable and hence hard to hit in a dogfight or missile strike, this is enabled by advanced technology aiding the pilot. They can reach a maximum operating ceiling just below the age of space in around one minute.
