Really cute and fun indie romcom. The performances and characters were very sincere, and the writing was pretty top notch. It lacks a certain professionalism that most films with a budget have, but that adds to this very genuine vibe the movie gives off. You can tell this came from a very real place from the filmmakers and that there was truly a lot of love put into this story.
I also greatly appreciated how the topics of mental health issues were breached. It does border a bit on cartoonish at points, but it is rather difficult to showcase the idea they were going for so I commend the attempt.

This is one rom com you don't want to skip over. The cast does an incredible job of telling a very genuine feeling story. I found myself laughing and crying along with them throughout their journey.
Rich Grosso writing is incredible and so is his acting. I love the way they shot these scenes, it is beautifully shot.
I am not a big rom com fan, but this one has definitely won me over. It is really amazing the great films and talented actors that you find in the indie market.
I can not wait to watch more of Rich Grosso's work.
I was also excited to see included in this solid cast Spencer Breslin!

I loved the guys poker game table banter and back and forth from this indie romcom film from Rich Grosso and Stephen Ward. And despite the modern cliche, there's nothing wrong with meeting in a bar either! The cast characters were pretty relatable to real life struggling folks with their own emotional baggage and well played by the main actors portrayed in the film. Scenes, sets and locations were suitably lifelike and avoided that obvious indie film empty look that many productions suffer from. Overall this is a very decent and well made film for an evening with popcorn romcom-night-in flick to enjoy.
I just watched the movie DONT SAY IT starring Richard Grosso (also the writer) and Victoria Kellher.
The movie has a lot of strong scenes. It also has very interesting to watch characters.
The movie is directed by Stephen Ward.
This movie was shot in a very creative stylistic way. It's a heart-warming indie rom com! Love it! The storyline pulls you in many directions as you're watching this movie.
This is a romantic ride portrayed on screen that is great for date night. I thought all the lead actors had great onscreen chemistry- so good together. The sets and scenes are great. Check this movie out! You'll remember it!

Make no mistake this is not a big budget Hollywood release. What this is however, is an Indie film that flies above much of what the Hollywood machine turns out.
The film does take a good minute to get started, but as you settle in these characters quickly become familiar friends. Pat and Lara aren't your typical rom-com characters, they are human with all the baggage and frailties that often come with middle age.
Both needing a push to get out of their funk and live life, they meet in the old fashioned way in a bar...
As the characters, both hesitant, open up to each other, they begin to bare the wounds life has bestowed. At this point you can't help but to cheer them on.
Rich Grosso's 'Pat' is a man who's past mistakes haunt him and Victoria Kelleher's 'Lara' is the perfect middle aged woman trying to figure out the next chapter.
The rest of the cast are perfectly placed, and the TV newsman and Pat's ex are not to be missed.
No spoiler alerts here, but if you like a good rom-com, this one actually has characters that are human.
