Director Jaxson Price stated "This film was interesting to work on, because it explores real world problems such as a global health crisis, racial tensions, and separate class divisions with the rich against the poor. With a sleek, cutting edge, Cyberpunk feel, Eli's Cure depicts a world that is slowly dying despite futuristic and technological advancements. Wealth and corporate greed have created an elite class intent on destroying anyone deemed to be interior. This film suggests that no matter how much change the future may bring, many historical prejudices, problems and issues remain the same. With the two main characters, they are reminded that there is always hope of winning the war against evil if one is brave enough to make a difference."
