Lulu Santos: Já É

This music video directed by filmmaker Andrucha Waddington ("Eu, Tu, Eles") that promotes Lulu Santos single "Já É" is a memorable and fun experience in paying tribute to the classic series "Charlie's Angels". In it, they are played by Cláudia Abreu, Fernanda Torres and Mariana Ximenes and they had the important mission of rescuing an important man (Lulu Santos) who was kidnapped by a machiavellic villain (Scarlet Moon, Lulu's wife in real-life) and her scheme of making robotic clones of him.

Fights, car chases, explosions and the pretty girls being part of the action, everything works in the video. The music works quite well along with such scenarion but just focus much on the lyrics which goes as a life-affirming reflection rather than describing actions, but it's upbeat rhythms works with great effect. And it comes with a plot twist the mini-film made, and it was such a cool video that I'd really like a feature version with those three action ladies and Lulu as well. This brings back many fun memories of the early 2000's. Lots of fun! 10/10

P. S.: A sad note for the time being: the video is not available on YouTube (for reasons unknown) - it's posted but blocked. On the official page of the artist you can watch it...but without the song playing, so you'll have to use the music audio from YT, and you'll still miss the early and final dialogues that appear during the video. Hope this can get fixed and re-released at its greatest form.
