Raktabeej is not just a film! Raktabeej is an experience, where cinema meets reality. And this merging is seamless! It is really amazing how the directors have blended the flavours of Durga Puja with that of suspense. The details of puja days, the rituals, the rural flavour s and flamboyance on one side and ruthless remains of a blast, the trauma, the loss on the other side. And all seem real. It is indeed a surprise package from Directors Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee. The directors who have always made films based on emotions and family ties, have come up with a film that blends the genres of thriller and emotions so effortlessly! Kudos to the directors.

Today I watched 'Raktabeej' movie with my family. For those who want to watch this movie during Pujo, please go and watch the movie with the whole family... Nandita-Siboprasad directors duo has given us such a wonderful movie named Raktabeej. In one word it is 'amazing'. It is in line with the reality, And what about Victor Banerjee? He is just "wow" There was no turning back. Every character in the movie gives their all and made the movie real.

Everything you need to watch a movie is in this movie, now the question is why should you go to see Raktabeej?

Number one: Casting of the movie. The artists who worked in this movie. From child artistes to famous artists, everyone's work was amazing.

Number two, you can confidently say that you have never seen this kind of Bengali movie before, leaving the cinema hall.

Number Three: The amazing songs of the movie touched the hearts of the audience. Like "Govinda Daanth Majena"...the young generation started dancing in the theaters when the song started.

Number four: The action in this movie is really good. There is no excess in the action. The subject matter is presented very nicely. The action was presented very nicely.

Plus you get Kanchan Mallick..the job of making you laugh beautifully at times, he does it expertly.

And talking about the climax...couldn't believe your eyes at the end. I felt breathless...you can't expect what's going to happen.. Where the movie reaches at the end...must know. Book tickets and watch the movie in theaters...'Raktabeej' will not disappoint you.

Shiboprasad-Nandita duo is a prominent name in the Bengali film fraternity. They started their career with some groundbreaking movies that were ahead of their time. Gradually, their work became monotonous and somehow lingered in the family drama genre. After a long hiatus, they made a comeback with a social-thriller named 'Raktabeej,' featuring an ensemble cast, including the ace actor Victor Banerjee, Anusuya Majumder, Kanchan Mallick, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, etc. In this tumultuous time when directors are often hesitant to create political films, the director duo showed their courage by choosing a bold subject against the backdrop of the Khagragarh blast. The screenplay and editing of this film are top-notch, and the supporting characters have done an excellent job. The music, while good, sometimes hindered the pace of the film. The linear screenplay is perfectly matched with the festive mood. This movie raises a valid question: 'Is forgiving always the right decision?' Kudos to this director duo for bringing us such unique content in Bengali cinema. I'm eagerly awaiting its sequel.

When you obsessed with similar types of movies and try to taste a new flavor of movie.... then suddenly a movie came from old genra and silently stars blowing everyone's heart' ... this movie perfectly matches with those words.

The movie starts with a minor criminal activity and cops, and gradually become greater. This is a festival time movie which shows authentic events of durga puja. Home coming of a man. The chemistry between a brother and sister is shown perfectly. The rich bengal culture is shown here it will make you amaze. Also there is some spices of conflicts of central and state police and then becoming a team. Also little bit love chemistry is there but not too much as it's a life action movie. Which shows a fine direction of a director.

As this is a action, thriller, and festive drama movie.. every character is important here.. casting is absolutely awesome. Every cine is very important here. So go with some one or alone 🙂 it will make you feel amazing.

#Raktabeej : Fabulous Cinematography, Crisp Editing, Fantabulous Music & Gripping Screenplay with a Superb Narrative Style, twists and turns till the end. #AbirChatterjee, #MimiChakraborty, #DebasishMondal and #UmaBanerjee stole the show eclipsing others, even #VictorBanerjee and #AnasuaMajumdar. #KanchanMallick, #ParometaMukherjee & #DevlinaKumar has their moments though. #MaulikGhosh needs to be praised with special mention. But #SatyamBhattacharya, #KanchanMallick, #SubhaRanjanMukherjee & #AmbarishBhattacharya has been a miscasted and wasted as a whole. But #TanusreeShankar has her presence amply felt in her brief cameo, just because of the character of whom she has played ... #AnkushHazra has his moments in the foot-tapping item number ( and may be many more which u had to check out urself ). Well, must say, it has got one of the best Climax sequence ever in the recent Bengali films been shot. Kudos to the director duo #NanditaRoy & #ShiboprosadMukherjee and co-writer #ZiniaSen for making a such a brilliant and well-made, social-awareness and relevant Film. Indeed it will attract repeat audiences too. A must-watch this puja. It is a perfect Puja Film and truly a Game-Changer.
