I am extremely biased towards a good movie that narrates a story of a siblinghood and its small nuances. The story is uncomplicated and the narrative is pretty straight forward and essentially carries the essence of innocence both in dialogue, framing and overall flow of the story.
A huge reason why a lot of us (including me) watched this movie is because of Babil Khan, and the reminiscing memory and image of his wonderful extraordinaire father, Late Irfan Khan. And it's no question that despite of this immense pressure to keep up his father's name, Babil does extreme justice to his effortless acting legacy. Moreover the best part is, even if he was not the son of such great persona, the viewers would still love his performance.
Now coming to the movie it is a simple flowing story of an introvert overthinking older brother, Siddharth who has a stark contrasting younger sibling Aditya living with their single Mom (Played by ever gorgeous Juhi Chawla), and the chaotic story that takes place in a single day in their everyday life in absence of their mother. The chemistry of two brothers is a spitting image of everyday reality of many (if not all) brotherhood. It is warm, fuzzy, nostalgic and if you're away from your sibling, it will make you want to call them to reminisce your childhood days.
Special mention to the scenes where Amrith Jayan has given a spectacular performance of hyping his older brother up as a reflection of exactly how much he looks up to him.
A brilliant light hearted movie that can be rewatched more than once.

A fun movie to watch with family. Its a sort of 'Coming of age' movie of 2 teenage brothers who bond over a crazy Friday night and it also beautifully shows the close bond and love of the brothers and their mother. And it teaches us that amidst all of our life's pressures its okay to have some fun and in the end it also teaches a lesson in learning to live responsibly. Very good acting by all. The direction is good and seamless and very natural; bringing out the best in the actors. A good watch. Juhi has acted well, and its a pleasure to see her on the small screen. Wish she gets more meatier role that will do credit to her acting callibre.
It's a simple film but boy is it sweet!
Story of a single mother with two teenage boys and their bonding. Younger brother takes the heart, Bhai ho toh Aisa!
Teenage boyhood love but dealt with such maturity, the poignancy of balancy both - Responsibility and flexibility.
Discovering your own way and self in the world of being cool. Knowing what may be considered the best may not be the best for you!
Following your gut and being straightforward.
Mumbai police takes the heart...
And Juhi Chawla's presence is nothing but an icing on the cake.
Worth the watch!
It'll leave you with a beautiful feeling by the end.

Again Babil Khan impressed me with his simple and stable performance. The character he played as a responsible and disciplined brother with an introvert persona, is quite similar to me. Also the relationship, fights, understanding between two brothers shown in this movie is very smooth for the audience.
Juhi chawla played a beautiful understanding mother role which we expect from our parents.
Overall Friday Night Plan or FNP is a one time watch for all type of audience. It keeps you engaged through it's teenager kind story and at the end also it gives you a lesson that, Not every responsible person is always right and not every prankster is bad from heart...

Friday Night Plan🤝 Karwaan.
TLDR- Wholesome entertainment which will put a smile on your face
From the general feels of the movie to the music to just the feel good nature of the plot, Babil Khan shows that his dad's (Irfan Khan for context) acting blood flows through him. But it's not just that- Babil also adds his own flair of subtlety plus panache (oxymoronic but see the film to understand why)- which is very much in tone with the film. With strong performances all around- from Amrith Jayan playing the perfect younger brother to Babil's big brother, and the rest of the cast also giving just the right amount of impact for their roles- all done very gently and nothing becoming overbearing, this is an example of a film that shows that what matters most for a film is a solid plot, and characters that the audience can connect with. Solid plot, simple and beautiful dialogues and likeable performances do indeed make for a good show. And the music on top of this- the entire thing just feels like one big warm hug.
