An exhaustively insipid documentary show celebrating "British science", a term surely best left in the first half of the 20th century, presented in the least scientific way imaginable; through nationalistic chauvinism.
The show harps on about British scientific achievement without the slightest hint of humility or acknowledgement that such achievements were only made possible by the enormous stolen wealth generated by the British Empire and its oppressive reign over its colonial possessions, instead favoring a view that British-ness infers some characteristic or another that created one scientific genius after another.
Nationalism has no place in science.
